PvE
You will probably be using the Zepp for its Decoy, which blocks two enemy attacks, or its Explode which kills itself instantly, allowing a level pet to get XP from a Tamer, or both.

In this case, you will use Decoy at the start, or when you know a hit is coming that you want to avoid, and then spam Missile to do damage while you wait for the right time for your Explode to finish both your opponent and your Zepp simultaneously.

Bombing Run is occasionally used when the self-destruct gimmick of Explode is not required. Flyby is rarely more useful then Missile, and Thunderbolt will not often be taken against Decoy.
