Quest: Lawn of the Dead - /way #25 33.6 49.2 Brazie the Botanist

From Warcraft Pets:
Similar to PvZ (Plants vs Zombies), players must survive five waves of ghouls in a mini-game started at Brazie's Farm, located just south of the Dalaran Crater in Hillsbrad Foothills. Players are phased out during each wave and will find themselves in vehicle-mode while defending the farm from ghouls using different plants.

PvE
The synergy between Sunlight, Solar Beam and a heal (either Photosynthesis or Inspiring Song) is quite obvious, and the Sunflower was first of its kind.

While there are other pets with Sunny Day focused on sustaining themselves, only this one and Everburning Treant can use a direct team heal. This makes them essential during hunting alternate appearances in the backline, as it builds up enough overflow to reduce the health penalty from forfeiting.

Ray of Hope combines Sunny Day and healing, but healing comes before the weather, so there's no overflow effect on its own.

PvP
Thanks to No Time to Heal achievement, and the PvP players not shying away from more… ahem psychological means, Sunny Day with healing over time especially had been a thing since it became possible.

However, the Sunflower's power isn't particularly high, and most of people do this quest once, so once Broot and Fozling broke the need to resort to the store to grab a Blossoming Ancient, it's lost a bit of its luster.

Other Info
The source quest, the pet's appearance itself, and the tune it makes ("There's a zombie on your lawn") are all a direct reference to Plants vs. Zombies video games, Sunflower being one of the essential characters to employ.

This pet was featured in the Blizzard's old blog series about WoW companions, Major Payne's Pet Menagerie.
Supposedly, it was his menace – which is not only understandable given the general annoyance of Sunny Day combos – but also an ancient strategy against him actually does exist!
