Still works perfectly in SL. Needed the third pet. I used a 25 B/B Rapana Whelk. Ooze Touch to victory.

I'd rather kill skum faster and be done faster with the dungeon, I don't like much these 'long' fights, so I used the Zanddalari Anklerender in slot in to debuff it and finish it off in few turns.

Turn 1 Primal Cry
Turn 2 Black Claw
Turns 3+ hunting party till skum is dead, if not, use standard attack to finish it.

One Deviate comes in
Turn 1 Try debuffing it with Black claw if Anklerender is still alive, primal cry
Turn 2 Bring in Darkmoon Tonk
Turn 3+ Missile untill Deviate is dead

Last Deviate pet comes in
Turn 1 Shock and Awe
Turn 2 Ion Cannon
Turn 3 Missile untill dead

imo replace zeppelin with a Mechanical Axebeak with Alpha Strike, Haywire and Decoy. Start with Decoy, then Haywire on CD, fill up with Alpha Strikes. Son of Skum's Feral Strike is weak vs. flying pets.

I put Mechanical Axebeak PP 121 in first, and moved Zep to third, here's the script I used, most of it is from the above script, and I did get a TKO with Skum, so may have to manually change to 2, so yea it's not 100%.

Ladies and gents... I present you another great strat, below:
> Slot 1 > Lifelike mechanical frostboar (2-1-1) - decoy and rebuild (this will heal 2nd mechanical pet too for 50%) on CD, missile when others are not available, usually the frostboar soloes Skum, can hit 1-2 the second pet,, with second mechanical pet usually at full health, and 3rd critter pet barely scratched.
> Slot 2 > Sky Bo (2-1-1) - for safety if Frostboar fails on Skum
> Slot 3 > Any critter (takes less damage from Skum's aoe) - I used a Red Cricket (1-2-1) P/P astounding 370 power, with the cocoon syncronizing very well with most deviate's pets strong attacks, like those aquatic ones, that 90% of the time will hit despite the tooltip saying it has 50%.

If you find that its hard to get the Sky bo, pretty much any mechanical pet will suffice, but in my first test case, I swapped to the critter pet first, and managed to clear the other 2 pets with it, not even touching the second mechanical pet, in my case, said Sky Bo. You can use any Rabbit/hare instead of the cricket as the too have evasive abilities, and are easy to get.

Yeah, I use a similar idea I got from Remte. Mechanical Scorpid S/S breed - must be S/S. Blinding Poison syncs with Skum's Thunderclap and prevents any damage at all from it, and especially to the back line. Wind-up melts Skum while Extra Plating keeps me alive. It usually solos the fight.

For WC, Teroclaw and Emerald Proto-Whelp (preferably P/P) breed with Emerald Presence and Emerald Dream are two backup pets that just keep going because of their heals. The trash in WC tends to be Beasts and Flyers, so critters and aquatic backup may not work too well. An Idol is good, but may eventually wear down. A Hyjal Wisp with Wish can heal itself or a teammate to help keep going.

I had teroclaw as a 3rd backup pet and it was needed.
Skum did a big crit on my zep and a deviate snake another big crit on my tonk
