This is the only pet, other than Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling, which has Mechanical racial/Dragonkin damage combo to employ against Magic pets.

It's much better in that role due to a periodic damage – that can also be boosted by Razor Talons – which diminishes the relevance of the magic racial.

It's also the highest power Armageddon user, sparing the player from the choices regarding a somewhat rare Blackfuse Bombling.

If you forgo the talons for Time Bomb, it's much better than other abilities of this type for a similar reason.
