Was able to substitute Lil' Tarecgosa for a Nether Faerie Dragon (2/1/1) - Use Arcane Blast, then Moonfire to override the toxic weather, then spam AB until Nether dies. This should kill Shelby and maybe even give you a few hits on Tinyhoof.

Didn't have Lil'Tarecgosa so tried this strat with P/P Nether Faerie Dragon and P/P Nexus Whelpling, failed. Whelpling dies because of slower speed. 2nd try was with P/s Nexus Whelpling and worked. This is just two data points so take from it what you will. (edited)
