Worked first time, but second time both pets died. Chitterspine Skitterling has 335 speed. Luckily was able to finish the fight with my leveling pet.

Good strat, it worked on 2nd try, so I guess there's a bit of RNG, but otherwise is great. On the 1st try, SS Chitterspine Skitterling died before being able to use Skitter to lower Tarascar's health below 618, but maybe its attack is too low due to breed. Not sure, though. (edited)

Thanks for your feedback. I do use a PS Chitterspine and on more than 30 tries it worked. So as you say, there is may be a "power" requirement to get rid of RNG.
I've edited the strat to add some missiles to make sure explode will kill the 3rd pet. (edited)
