When Anomalus dies, I bring in Darkmoon Zeppelin, use Missile x1 to kill first whelp, Missile x1 to kill second whelp, then Explode on third whelp. Finish with Chrominius (Howl, Surge of Power). Hasn't failed me yet.

I do something similar. I use missile to finish off Faceripper and Bloodbiter. When Tina comes out, I use Decoy then missile until explode will finish her off. I put a level pet in the third spot. It's not much xp, but it helps to finish off the last bit of a level 24 pet.

I can see why people are saying this strategy can fail. Surge of Power isn't quite enough to finish off Tina; you'll probably want to add a Howl before you Surge of Power. Howl is going to do more damage than the Dragonkin buff, because the buff only gives you 1.5x on Surge of Power, but Howl will give you double, so it's 1184 (buff) versus 1628 (Howl).

Worked first try, it's kind of different to the original strategy in that Darkmoon Zeppelin never uses Explode, it just fires off a couple of Missile before being automatically swapped for Chrominius which easily finishes the fight.

The dodge ability and deflection ability when timed right prevents enemy's (#1, #2) Lift-Off damage.
