Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

It's hard to say this strategy is RNG-free when the opponent pets use random moves, but in my testing it's been consistently able to win even when Ridge uses Quake multiple times early on. Sometimes Ridge just uses Stoneskin six turns in a row and you get to take down the backline pets for free, but sometimes you can't even get a second Great Sting.

Generally, the strategy is to weaken the backline pets as much as you can with Infernal Pyreclaw's Great Sting/Cleave and Direhorn Runt's Primal Cry, then take down Ridge with Trample and let your King Viperid clean up. Direhorn Runt can probably be swapped with anything that can reliably win the 1v1 against Ridge, but I found Primal Cry to be helpful for the extra bit of backline damage with this strategy.

All three pets are relatively easy to cage and I'm pretty sure the breeds don't matter, but for what it's worth my Infernal Pyreclaw is PB and my Direhorn Runt is HP.

At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

Used P/B Pyreclaw,, and B/B, S/S. Needed 3rd pet, but worked well with script posted by DragonsAfterDark.

Ridge just spammed Stoneskin for like 5 rounds on my attempt and my Pyreclaw was able to nearly solo the fight.

Tried that and unfortunately didn't work for me, but I think it's just the RNG of this fight. I then tried a second Infernal Pyreclaw which worked but I think that was luck too. Something with over Tiny Cragling's 276 speed in the third slot would be better so you hit first.

I needed the 3rd pet. the Vespid cleaned up, finishing off all pets with a single hit, but it was tense.

Had an S/S bloodstone tunneler instead of viperid that I could use to finish everything off with after the Pyreclaw and Runt had done their thing. Anything fast with an aquatic attack will do the job I think.
