At a later point during the Pandaria expansion these ten legendary pets were introduced. They are spread out throughout Pandaria and pose a different challenge than the normal battles: they attack only by themselves - one vs. three!
To compensate they of course come with very strong abilities and an increased health pool.
In your faction capital in the Valley of eternal Blossoms, you can pick up three daily quests to defeat the Beasts of Fable.
As reward for the quests you have a chance to get one of those three cute panda pets:
Below and in the map is an easy route to follow if you want to fight against the Beasts of Fable one by one. The waypoints can be used with the addon TomTom:
/way Kun-Lai Summit:Pandaria 67.87 84.69 Dos'Ryga
/way Kun-Lai Summit:Pandaria 35.18 56.17 Kafi
/way Townlong Steppes 72.26 79.78 Ti'un the Wanderer
/way Vale of Eternal Blossoms:Pandaria 11 71 No-No
/way Dread Wastes 26.18 50.27 Gorespine
/way Krasarang Wilds:Pandaria 36.23 37.34 Skitterer Xi'a
/way Valley of the Four Winds 25.29 78.54 Greyhoof
/way Valley of the Four Winds 40.54 43.67 Lucky Yi
/way Jade Forest:Pandaria 48.42 70.96 Ka'wi the Gorger
/way Jade Forest:Pandaria 57.04 29.12 Nitun
Xu-Fu can scan this section for the most suitable strategies according to your preferences and show the required pets.
Depending on the amount of fights in the section, this can take up to a minute to process.
Updated TomTom coordinates for 9.1.0. These should plug in properly using Paste or a similar addon in conjunction with TomTom. These newest coordinates utilize the number system rather than zone names, so you can use them anywhere in the game.
nice job collecting the coords, not sure why ... i have TomTom but when i try and copy paste them even if i am in the area, and even if i try to copy paste them one at a time, they don't post to my map... but when i type them for example the one for Dos'Ryga if i type in /way 67.87, 84.69 i get the dot on the map... could it be that it does require the comma in between the two coords? or is it something i am not doing right?
wonderful site ...i use it often the only frustration i have is ... i see a lot of posts that people make with the ability as a number rather than what the ability is... is there a way to decipher this code? is there a place to find out what the numbers mean? because for me they mean absolutely nothing.
Each pet has three slots, with a choice of 2 abilities in each slot. The numbers indicate which ability, 1 or 2, to use in each slot. For example, Anubisath Idol 1/1/1 ( https://wow-petguide.com/index.php?Strategy=33) means use the first ability in each slot - Crush, Sandstorm, Deflection. Ankperender 1/1/2 https://wow-petguide.com/index.php?Strategy=591 means use the second ability (Black Claw) in slot 3, and the first ability in each of the other two.
I never think in terms if 1/2/1 either, so it always takes me a minute. :)
You can see the abilities used by reading down the strategy anyway.
i wasnt thinking of those numbers the numbers i mean they are using a number for the spell (ability)... those numbers make no sense to me some people will put down numbers 204, 553, 302, 724 stuff like that a string of nothing but numbers the pet is a number the ability is a number ... i understand the upper lower 1 and 2... and i understand using the first ability the 2nd ability , third ability as 1, 2, 3, i guess i wasn't clear in what i was asking is why i am STILL not able to understand when the strat is written in nothing but numbers in the comments... i'm also not talking about when someone posts a rematch script and says that is what it is... i'm talking about the ones that write it like that, and say this is what i did instead of what was suggested. there is no way to tell what their strat is... and it would be less frustrating if they wrote it out and if they wanted to include the string. Rematch did not work for me, but i would still like to see the possible alternatives that end up in the chat
I do not and would never use that addon, so I can't speak to it, but pet Abilities are numbers in a database. Blizzard assigns a unique number to each ability. Blizzard has assigned Black Claw, for example, to number 919, as you can see from this Wowhead page:
(Does anyone have a more accessible table publicly available?)
From what I have seen of people talking about scripts in that addon, it is possible to use either the description of an ability, or its number, or both. (I could be wrong about that.) But English descriptions will not work right in other-language clients. (I could be wrong about that, too.) So when making a script in that addon, it is considered safer to use the canonical Blizzard internal ability number.
Thank you for your response... i don't use re-match, i tried it and couldn't figure out how to use it , and removed it as i prefer the hands on manual method rather than the idea of a bot doing the fight for me. i find no fun or satisfaction in the idea even. i prefer to accomplish the fight on my own skills. I do appreciate the information though at least i can look it over when people post in nothing but numbers, but chances are, if it is nothing but numbers i will continue to go on to another strat. too much like work to look up the numbers lol (although i do find it interesting. the main reason i made the original comment was to get people thinking... there are those of us who don't use rematch, their strats may have value, but many will never know. and that is sad. it is also frustrating when a person don't have the recommended pets and someone posts nothing but a script with numbers and says "this works flawless" but because (at least for me) i don't use rematch so i will never know, and it takes so little time to write it out (especially if you add a tab and create a new strat) Thanks Again for responding
Rematch remembers your teams, and provides searching and sorting for your roster of pets.
tdScripts automates battles.
I love Rematch. All hail Gello, the author!
AFAIAC, tdScripts is botting, plain and simple.
FWIW, I wouldn't bother with a strat written purely in numbers either, even manually. If someone took so little pride and effort, I doubt it's worth wasting my time on.

Is there a way to copy/import single team (witch "Rematch string") into Rematch WITH comments? Like above? Each time I import a team I need go back alt tab to website, copy and alt tab back to paste strat into Rematch.
It's great that there is a set of rematch teams to import for this, but for anyone going to get the td scripts a bit of searching to match them up is required. Any chance you can flag the relevant pet teams (or push them to the top) to aid importing the scripts? cheers
I've just completed all the beats of fable with just Zandalari Anklerender and Ikky using the Black Claw > Hunting Party/Flock strategy. Obviously Ikky on the aquatic ones, anklerender on the others. Most fights are solod, but if the first dies just continuing the same way with the second works. I found this super quick and easy, no pet changes, Zandalari Kneebiter as third backup which I only needed on Skitterer Xi'a due to being crit.
Just finished Beast of Fable. Your guides were fantastic, especially since I don't have a Stitched Pup! What an accomplishment gathering, developing and documenting all this data. Many tanx for your effort.
BTW in my three bags I got a Snowy Panda, a Mountain Panda and one Flawless Battle Stone.
Maybe it's a bug? For Krasarang Wilds you get: "Found multiple matches for zone 'Krasarang Wilds'. Did you mean: Krasarang Wilds:Pandaria, Krasarang Wilds:The Arcway"
Also, you get the same error with Jade Forest:Pandaria/Jade Forest:Highmountain. The others work fine.

I do not and would never use that addon, so I can't speak to it, but pet Abilities are numbers in a database. Blizzard assigns a unique number to each ability. Blizzard has assigned Black Claw, for example, to number 919, as you can see from this Wowhead page:
https://www.wowhead.com/pet-ability=919/black-claw
Many numbers are unused, or were internally used and perhaps never made it to live, or possibly used for testing. Here is a table of all the numbers:
https://wow.tools/dbc/?dbc=battlepetability&build=8.2.0.30993#search=&page=1
(Does anyone have a more accessible table publicly available?)
From what I have seen of people talking about scripts in that addon, it is possible to use either the description of an ability, or its number, or both. (I could be wrong about that.)
