Fierce and loyal, Xu-Fu loves to hunt by moonlight. Once during a full moon, he killed and ate an entire Ironfur Great Bull, prompting a two day nap.

Xu-Fu is a reward from beating the Celestial Tournament, and can be purchased for three Celestial Coins from three completions, but is usually the chosen reward from players' first win.

As befits such a noble beast, he cannot be traded like tawdry goods, and his loyalty cannot be earned from any lesser feat. (All other feats are lesser!)

The most common use is to Prowl to set up a buffed Moonfire that does 1190 damage, and change the weather to Moonlight, guaranteeing 494-damage hits from Spirit Claws thereafter. Xu-Fu's Beast racial allows him to do 25% extra damage when he is below half-health, so his damage output is considerable.

When engaged in less arduous activities like wild Critter-farming, his ferocious Bite chews through his opposition, while his Feed sustains him through multiple encounters.
