I went with lvl 1 pets and Soulbroken Whelpling killed first 2 pets and got the epic one down to 50% before he died. Then i finished him off with another magic pet, never had to use my 3rd pet :)

I didn't have Cursed Birman, so I tried with Feline Familiar and failed. Swapped in Sable instead and won no problem, but it could've just been RNG luck.
