2	fAb#2203	Beast pets do +25% increased damage when they are below half health. This tactic takes advantage of that by using dmg modifiers first and then the heavy nukes. That heavily reduces the chance of failing and doesn't require a specific breed. It worked for me 9 out of 10 times. You might have to restart if Bile Larva fails to kill first pet, you need it to survive so that it can apply acidic goo on the second pet. You can replace Moon-Moon with Feline Familiar (1/X/2). I initially tried the Xu-Fu in the third slot strats, by trying a couple of other pets in those fights with similar-ish abilities as Xu-Fu, but the ability BITE isn't strong enough if they're going to take out a flying pet. So I decided to give the Scabby/Xu-Fu/Feline Familiar strat a shot, and tried once again to find other pets to stand in for Xu-Fu. In comes the Lost Netherpup, who also lives long enough to take the Lift-Off, giving you all the breathing room you need for that last pet :D Have fun, y'all non-Xu-Fu owners! Thank you, commenters! Always glad to see when a strat works, even if there's a little RNG to it/works with a different breed.

I needed to find a way around Xu-Fu, Cub of Xuen, as I didn't want to go level my monk in the middle of the achievement progress, I figured with as many pets as I have, there MUST be another way.

I initially tried the Xu-Fu in the third slot strats, by trying a couple of other pets in those fights with similar-ish abilities as Xu-Fu, but the ability BITE isn't strong enough if they're going to take out a flying pet.

So I decided to give the Scabby/Xu-Fu/Feline Familiar strat a shot, and tried once again to find other pets to stand in for Xu-Fu. In comes the Lost Netherpup, who also lives long enough to take the Lift-Off, giving you all the breathing room you need for that last pet :D

The strat worked for me today. On Turn 5 of the Chipper part of the fight Moonfire was back up, so I used that instead of Spirit Claws. It was overkill but it wasn't weak against Flying like Spirit Claws was.

as a third pet, you can use the Bleak Skiterred(Rare) with Skitter, Plagued Blood, Drain Power.
I killed Bone crusher with skitter. Then enters Chipper and i do this combo:
skitter, pass, plagued blood, drain power, skitter, skitter, skitter

High RNG for the beginning of the fight, need no crits and low roll for Burrow. Then there's 4 RNG's of how many flurries you can get off + no crits. Lots of RNG.

Agreed. With my H/S Bile Larva, I need him to hit under 400 on burrow to have a shot; otherwise I just don't have the 562 pts I need to eat his last mudslide. 10-12 tries, he never hit for less than 500 (on the ones I didn't simply quit due to crits AND after I started paying attention). Never even saw Bone Crusher

My Snooter dies and Bone crusher heals himself for 800+ HP. This can't work for my breeds, even when RNG on 1st battle and 2nd one is good. It means breeds are important if it worked somehow.

Took several attempts. Between RNG on Bloog's Burrow and my P/S Antoran Bile Larva's Diseased Bite, it took 3-4 tries just to reach Bone Crusher successfully.

The first time I got to it, my poor Duskytooth got crit for 1500 right out of the gate and I had to start over. Second attempt where I got that far, my Duskytooth actually managed to kill off Bone Crusher with a lucky crit on Flurry. After that, I just passed the turn since it had 1 HP and was slower than the Chipper. Decided to have Xu-Fu pass his first turn since Chipper was using Lift-Off. After that, I generally followed the strat (though I didn't use Vengeance, which perhaps made it closer than necessary) with Moonfire, then spamming Spirit Claws until Chipper died. Xu-Fu ended the fight with 234 HP. (edited)

This was extremely RNG with a P/H Bile Larva. It only worked if Bloog didn't crit and hit for low damage on Burrow.

I did it with a green Duskytooth Snooter, I'd suggest you to switch flurry with Gnaw, since the snooter and Xu-fu are faster than Bone crusher it'll make your strat less RNG and more consistent.
I've noticed that using a H/H restricted Bile larva makes it less rng too due to high hit potential of Bloog's Burrow.

I initially tried the Xu-Fu in the third slot strats, by trying a couple of other pets in those fights with similar-ish abilities as Xu-Fu, but the ability BITE isn't strong enough if they're going to take out a flying pet. So I decided to give the Scabby/Xu-Fu/Feline Familiar strat a shot, and tried once again to find other pets to stand in for Xu-Fu. In comes the Lost Netherpup, who also lives long enough to take the Lift-Off, giving you all the breathing room you need for that last pet :D Have fun, y'all non-Xu-Fu owners!
