I've had this fail before because Widget misses the the pounce and gets killed but still enjoy this kitty squad :P

Just thinking about it for a few seconds. I tried to precaution against that 1 event.

I Basically just swaps into back into Cursed Birman instead of to level pet once widget died, used it's abilities and hop to finish the job. I tested it and it didn't quite work as Sir Murkston had 18HP left BUT I was able to finish it off with my level pet (it was magical).

I don't have a P/S Scourged Whelpling to test this with, so I can't confirm if it works for that breed. I personally don't think it can. Feel free to try though and tell me if it does.
