This is an alternative to the existing Bronze Whelpling + Widget the Departed strategy here. If you have those two pets, I'd recommend using that strategy.
Emmigosa is a unique, cageable pet from a Legion quest in Azsuna, and Spectral Ravens are a wild capture in Nazmir. This strategy isn't as quick or efficient as the Whelp 'n' Widget one, but it exists here for those that don't have those pets. This alternative setup usually takes 1 extra round, sometimes 2. |

I tested in the 9.2 patch and it still works. This strategy uses as a base the fight you need Enchanted Broom, but Lovebird Hatchling is cheaper and a 99% chance of success, it can change a little if you have critics hits on your opponent, but it does not fail!
Its a little longer than other strategies, but my focus its the pets that are easy to get or/and cheap to buy! |

If a crit throws your dragonkin racial off the sequence, just pass the round you'd have it wasted on killing Deebs.
H/S Bronze Whelpling works, if you cast "Lift-Off" in the last round with Deebs, but the fight will take longer this way. |

A newer one that should feel more dynamic due to no swapping, based on Bronze Widget.
There are three unlucky cases of *your* own crits the first of which applies to the original strategy aswell: 1. A crit on Deebs throws the dragonkin racial out of the sequence. Solution: Pass when Deebs would have died on the racial. 2. The crit from the initial portion of "Early Advantage" makes it unable for the proc to apply, so Tyri survives. Solution: I've seen it only once, and improvised: https://pastebin.com/raw/dgxVt1jH Do you have other ideas? :-) 3. The crit from the second portion of above renders Tyri dead. Solution: See the note at the bottom. |

I have used this strategy well over a hundred times and it only fails occasionally so I am very confident to recommend it as a fully working one.
The basis for this strategy was found on wowhead and suggested by user Perturabo137, see the comments at the following url: Link I have made some minor changes to the wowhead version such as just using 'Diseased Bite' on Puzzle, only swapping to the levelling pet when Puzzle enters the fight and passing as soon as Puzzle's health drops to about 500 as he will use 'Portal' which always goes first. On average each battle takes 1 minute and 25 seconds. |

ADDED TD SCRIPT. Should cover most scenarios of misses as well.
Solid strat for leveling a pet. I usually take my lvl 1s outside the garrison and one Icespine Hatchling encounter gets them to lvl 8, more than ready for this. Then a couple of this and they're 25 (first gets them to 20). It might fail if you miss the Explode on Tyri (you might actually save it killing it with your Iron Starlette), or if you kill Puzzle prematurely with a Wind-Up critical. |

There is some small amount of RNG which comes from comes from getting too many crits on Deebs while Anomalus survives (Any suggestions welcome). Even if that happens you can continue BUT there is a 10% miss chance on Ghostly Bite which can stuff you up (the 2nd Ghostly Bite just wait until CD finishes). I ran it 100 times and had 1 failure. I've put in a quit in the script in case this happens.
Side note: a Green drowned hatchling can work. I have 3 Anomalus and I run this 3 times without healing (and lines up well with the 4min CD on heal pets). 2 of them are green, but you will not have any crit protection with it PBLK: 10 rounds, 1:14 PBLK: 10 rounds, 1:15 PBLK: 11 rounds, 1:17 |

If you are having trouble with your HS/HP Bronze Whelpling and do have a P/P Infinite Hatchling from the Pandaria Timewalking vendor (2200 Time-Warped Badges), you can use this fast, easy, reliable strategy that was mentioned in earlier posts but never drawn out for ease of use. I achieved the best winrate with this strategy, but it still has some RNG in it.
It is possible that your Mechanical Dragonling misses the explosion (since it has 90% hitchance). In that case the fight still could be doable if you can kill Tyri with Widget before it kills your low level pet (Spectral s., then keep Pounce). The fight continues normally when Tyri is dead. |

Variant of the Bronze/Widget strat. Credit to the original creator of that strat.
This strat takes precisely 1:15 per run. So any pet 1-25 just unde r10 minutes Spectral Raven is relatively easy to get vs Widget. Wickerpup like many have said is another decent option, but I was annoyed with the stun from Ghostbite. |

This strat levels 2 pets - one close to 25 (just avoid critters) and one level 1 or higher (any kind). Takes 15 fast turns and works 9 times out of 10 (it's a bit shorter than Novaya's with the Mechanical Dragonling Pandaren but less safe). - Credits: Strat was inspired by Berendine's use of Emmigosa but weakens Tyri & Puzzle in the background with TWO Arcane Storms. Thanks to Celierra#1492 for the essential improvement that is integrated in the revised version!

At first glance at the strategies to this fight I did not believe I had the right pets till after I figured out my own strategy to which I can say I impressed myself. May not be flawless as Tyri can be a little unpredictable. However I had 65 level 23 pets and was able to level them all to level 25 in about 3 hrs give or take. This is my first strat that I have posted on here, hope you enjoy it and please let me know if I could have done something to improve this posting or the stratagy itself.

This strategy will work without damage to the level 1 pet most of the time. With Call Darkness applying a 10% miss rate, the back line could take a hit from Tyri's Omnislash. ~1:45 G'luck and let me know if any questions! |

We need another Squirt strat like Idaho needs potatoes. But for the sake of adding a simple strat with an easy-to-acquire pet, I submit mine for your approval. The S/S Rose Taipan is a surprisingly powerful pet. Blinding Poison followed by Puncture Would is devastating to Squirt's three pets. And an S/S Rose Taipan is faster than just about anything that isn't a Flying pet.
Where things can go wrong is with Tyri, due to his Call Darkness ability, since Darkness reduces the chance of attacks landing successfully. However, I have still salvaged a win, even when my first Puncture Wound attack then the subsequent Vicious Fang attack have both missed. Just keep hitting him with Vicious Fang, he'll go down. However, very bad RNG makes it more difficult. You could just put another Rose Taipan in the third slot, but even with bad RNG, I almost never need the slot 3 pet. The S/S Rose Taipan is a very useful pet, using the Blinding Poison, Puncture Wound combo, as written out in this strat. I would encourage you all to get some. |

Also, if you use Boneshard's abilities starting from ability #3, you don't need to pass with him, but need with Broom instead, when Puzzle dodges.

Also Bonestorm doesn't show damage numbers when it hits Tyri, only the damage Boneshard takes after he's finished.

Change it to:
ability(Sweep) [ round=1 ]
and it'll work properly. Specifying "round = 1" makes it cast it only on that specific round, so you don't need the condition about Deebs being active any longer

I start with my Enchanted Broom, Squirt has Deebs out.
*Enchanted Broom*
-'Sweep' - forces Deebs to switch with Puzzle
*Switch to my lvl pet*
~Puzzle casts 'Dodge'
*Switch to my Boneshard*
-'BONESTORM' #1
-'BONESTORM' #2
-Boneshard has first death
-'BONESTORM' #3
*Switch back to Enchanted Broom*
-Boneshard dies on backline
~Puzzle casts 'Dodge'
- 'Wind-Up'
- 'Wind-Up'
~Puzzle dies, Deebs comes in
- 'Batter'
~Deebs dies, Tyri comes in
- 'Batter'
~Tyri dies
-VICTORY!
I've been doing the same thing all day today just like that, nothing changes. I still count 11 turns but I don't pass, is it because I switch instead of waiting until Boneshard dies?
Also, I have never used scripts before and attempted to give it a go tonight, only when I start the battle the Auto button is greyed out and I can't use it. Any ideas on why that is and how I might fix it?
Thanks ♥

For mass get three Boneshards (they currently 32 gold each on AH). With the lowered CD on "Revived Battle Pets" to 4 minutes in the Garrison you will never need to use bandages again.
Also, set the addon to automatically automatically load healthiest pet and you will never need to manually swap Bonestorms again. I've personally set the pet leveling queue to automatic and to automatically add any new pets to that queue.

It does add in another turn, but its solid for me with no level pet deaths. I have 3xBoneshards but only one Broom, so I like to keep the health of the broom up enough so I can reduce the need to heal the pets for the battle and level up faster. This lets me battle at least 3xs before I have to heal by swapping in my Boneshards.
Changes start at turn 2. As I understand it, this type of modification does not get a new strategy to publish, and should be added as a comment. Many thanks again to Myzou's strategy.
Turn 1: Sweep – Puzzle is forced in
Turn 2: Wind-up X1
Turn 3: Swap to your Level Pet
Turn 4: Swap to your Boneshard
Turn 5: 10% BONESTORM (1st slot one)
Turn 6: 30% BONESTORM (2nd slot one)
Turn 7: 50% BONESTORM (3rd slot one)
Turn 8: Pass – your Boneshard dies
Turn 9: Bring in your Enchanted Broom - Sweep.
Turn 10: Tyri comes in - Batter x1
Turn 11: Deebs comes in - Batter x1
Turn 12: Puzzle comes in
Is health above 305?
Yes - Wind-up x1
No - Batter

If you put your carry pet in slot #2 and Boneshard in #3, you can shorten the script to this:

change(next) [ !self(#3).active & !self(#3).played ]
ability(Wind-Up:459) [ enemy(#3).active ]

When it comes to Boneshard's turn, If I do keys 3-2-1, Boneshard goes into undead on 2 then dies after 1, meaning I have to wait a turn after bringing in my broom so that wind-up hits on round 9 instead of round 8 (puzzle always has dodge up for 8)
If I do 1-2-3 instead, Bonestorm is just entering undead round after finishing 3. Swapping to Broom or passing puts me right on schedule to do two wind-ups that will hit round 9.
Haven't tested other combos, but has anyone else noticed this interesting tidbits for three supposedly identical actions?

Pet 2 - Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling (1,2,1)
Pet 3 - Any Level 1+ Pet
Turn 1 - Supercharge
Turn 2 thru 5 - Powerball
Turn 6 - Wind Up
Turn 7 - Powerball (Deeps should be dead by now, if not, Powerball until he dies)
Tyri Comes in to the battle
Turn 8 - Supercharge (You will die and get resurrected after this)
Turn 9 - Wind up (This should kill Tyri, (90% chance), if you miss, restart.
Puzzle enters battle
Turn 10 - Switch to level pet
Turn 11 - Switch back to Iron Starlette
Turn 12 - Powerball until Iron Starlette dies
Bring in Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
Important - You can use explode as soon as Puzzle is under about 500hp, but make sure that Darkness isn't still up and that he isn't "dodging".
Turn 13 - Thunderbolt
Turn 14 - Breath
Turn 15 - Breath
Turn 16 - Pass
Turn 17 - Explode
Puzzle dies. Max xp!! Good times. :)

Der ist aber mittlerweile gefixt. Taktik funktioniert wieder ohne Probleme.

Erfolgsrate dabei: 100%
Kampfdauer: ca. 1:20 Minute (edited)
