Thank you for this strat. I found swapping out to a spare Kunchong Hatchling in my stable every 2nd/3rd fight meant i didnt need to spend any bandages. Very nice!.

Yeah, this is even more effective than Squirt if you ask me, with the only downside not being free heals 10 feet away after each round, but then you only need to bandage or heal every 4 matches so it's still the most efficient I think.

Probably my favourite pet-levelling strat for Legion, and one of the fastest I've seen. Only having to bandage or heal every 4 battles makes it much more efficient, and as others have said if you have multiple Gorm.Kunchong teams then you could just rotate between them to heal even less often. It's always satisfying to see Gorm take out the lead pet with Impale while the backline gets FUBAR'd by Great Sting and Pheromones without ever having a chance to participate. One of those must-use strats! (edited)

Great strat. As others have mentioned, you can do this strat 4x before needing to heal pets. Kunchong will die in the 4th battle but it will play out the same way so it doesn't matter. And it takes 4 battles to level a pet from 1-25 (with safari hat). It takes 2 battles during pet battle week.

If you have 3 Gorm Harriers and Kunchong Hatchlings you can set up 3 different teams and rotate them, only needing to heal every 12 battles (though the Harriers don't really take much damage so you might only need 1 or 2 of these, though they are super easy to get from the treasure in Ardenweald on a couple different characters, then easily level them with this strat).

Each fight takes around 50 seconds which comes out to around 10 minutes for 12 fights, meaning you never have to bandage since pet heal is an 8 minute CD.

You can also just buy the extra Kunchong Hatchlings on AH if you need them. I've never seen them for more than a couple hundred gold. (edited)

BTW, if you've done enough of the Highmountain Legion campaign to access Stonedark, you can simply talk to the Stonedark Emissary at the bottom of Thunder Totem to be teleported right near the Pet Master.

Is the posted script, it has an extra line - "standby". I believe this allows for when you are rapidly battling, using 1 bandage every 2-4 fights, and your Kunchong dies.

Superb strat. I've written a slightly improved script for speed. You should only need to heal your pets once Kunchong Hatchling dies [or drops below 465 health and so won't survive 1 critical Water Jet]. When he does die, it means your level pet will be brought in without consuming a turn, which means your Gorm Harrier will be active before Great Sting is ready again. I added a line so that when that happens the script will pass, instead of using an unnecessary Enrage.

super fast strat at ~50 secs per battle. Can run 4 battles without having to heal (you can send your Kunchong Hatchling in as low as 33%. He will die, but strat goes on as intended), using just one free heal and one bandage per 8 fights - Patch 9.1.5

If you have 2 of each 새끼 쿤총's you are unlikely to have to bandage at all :p

Edit: So I ran this for 4 hours today with 2x KH with Ultra Squirt set it to 30 and only had to use 1 bandage. I know the cut off for health is 465 (allows for crits) and that is 31% if KH's health BUT considering my bandage rate of 0.25 bandages per hour it works ok I guess.
Though not sure if it would have been different with 35%. If I had a 3rd KH there would be no issues at all and It'd easily work with 35. (edited)

Minimum HP for the UltraSquirt addon is 40% for all pets surviving. However, you can set it to 35% and the Hatchling WILL die, but the fight will still succeed! Maximize those bandages (edited)

It is absolutely amazing how fast this strat is. Great way to level pets and Alts in a chill relaxed way. Can do four battles without having to burn a bandage or heal pets ability between fights (Kunchong will die in the 4th fight, but only after getting the necessary ability off). Imho that makes it better than Squirt for leveling pets, as it has the added bonus of getting XP for the character. Super useful strat especially since you can pick Legion in Chromie Time. Well worth the ground based travel time of taking a level 10-low teens character there. Even better now that skyriding is available at level 10. All the props for it <3 (edited)

You don't have to see the actual quest on the map. As long as the quest is up for the appropriate levels, the NPC will be there for everyone to see regardless of level. And you can battle him normally on repeat. Same applies to all WQ pet battlers in Legion.

Just go to Chromie in Stormwind or Org as appropriate for faction and pick Legion for Chromie Time. Once you get through the initial intro quests to get Dal Hearthstone and Your Class Hall you can pick any legion zone and quest as normal. You'll probably ding 11 or 12 depending on class.

I leveled my Void Elf from 11-40 and a Nightborne from 12-mid 30's with this battle last time it was up during pet battle week and got a metric ton of pets to 25 in the process. (edited)

For those who want to know:
Safe for level 1s.
During pet week, with a safari hat (no food bonuses) it takes 2 fights for leveling 1-25.
Bring band-aids, I consistently need to revive the Kunchong with 2-3 minutes left on the heal button.

this strategy is around 55s ~ 58s, which means the fastest strategy to train pets (faster than galveston).

What an amazing strategy! Very fast and clean. I absolutely love how it takes care of all 3 enemy pets at the same time :D Plus you only need to heal roughly every 4 fights. Script also works like a charm. Perfect!
