I have tried it a few times, seems to work flawlessly. I suppose the backline pets will vary, so it might be that you have to improvise a bit when Vinu is dead. Normally the Crimson Whelp will kill Vinu, and often it is able to solo the whole fight. From the original post on Wowhead: "Started out with Breath. Then i would heal every time he threw the keg at me and Lift-Off every time he went under the ground.
