1		ScarecrowPete	Implementation of a suggestion by Anonymous on the strategy by Aranesh posted above. This should eliminate the RNG of Curse of Doom missing by increasing our hit chance using Lucky Dance. Terky can clean up whatever remains once Ikky is done flocking. 3	Any Pet	Bösendorfer	I found this excellent strategy on wowhead, created by victor47613 on 2016/09/19 (Patch 7.0.3), and decided to share it here too. I have tried it a few times, seems to work flawlessly. I suppose the backline pets will vary, so it might be that you have to improvise a bit when Vinu is dead. Normally the Crimson Whelp will kill Vinu, and often it is able to solo the whole fight. From the original post on Wowhead: "Started out with Breath. Then i would heal every time he threw the keg at me and Lift-Off every time he went under the ground. At one point he will throw a keg at you and you wont be able to heal right away, but he will follow this up with a Dive, when he does just use Lift-off and heal on your next turn"	Script	2	5.0	1	155 2:35	23+

I haven't done this fight way too many times, but enough to consider this alt strat working reasonably well.

You can use Ikky and Nexus Whelpling:

Priorities until your pet dies:
- Black Claw
- Flock

Bring in your Nexus Whelpling.

Turn 1- Arcane Storm
Turn 2- Mana Storm
Turn 3- Tail Sweep until the fight is done

Nearly all the time Ikky manages to kill Vinu and Nexus can easily sweep the remaining 2 pets.
Even if Vinu didn't die but was on 1 hit kill by Nexus all went fine.

Okay, this one worked a lot better for me than Alt. #2. I think that Val'kyr's DoTs are more effective than Brilliant Spores'. Thanks for the strategies and tips, folks.

I put Terky in the first spot, and used Lucky Dance, then swapped in the Unborn Val'kyr. This removes the possibility of missing. I just skipped the Pass as instructed above, and everything worked great.

Thanks, the RNG or rather seemingly lack of (25% miss my arse, more like 60-75% miss) is annoying enough, let alone that Vinu has Boss: Damage Reduction to prevent large burst hits from any pumps. This strat while needing a bunch of restarts works great when everything hits in Round 5
