My first strategy. I didn't had required pets for other strategies nor any experience with battling elite pets, but it was a one shot.

I used this strategy when doing my daily quest for levelling the Hatchling, but any decent Level 25 pet would work instead.

Although it is a small amount of XP (810 without hat) from this one, i wanted to have a leveling team - so here it is.
HINT-1: As your level pet should have at least 769 health (because it sometimes needs to take a crit hit from the enemy), it might not be a level 1 - but who knows what may come in future ;) HINT-2: The script adds a little safety during the fight, but following the given steps should also work out fine. |

#3 recommend Flying or above 300 speed;
if not a double crit on #2 can make you lose. |

As will every strategy for this there is RNG. With the high damage unmissable Nocturnal Strike and high damage of Call Darkness, though, this should be highly successful unless you're having a really bad RNG day and Call Darkness misses a couple times. Any 3 pet combination with both abilities should work. TD script is simple and designed to allow flexibility.

This strategy is based on similar one, but with SL updates.
It is still RNG fight and may require few Battle Pet Bandages |

No strategy that uses cooldown abilities can be trusted here, because of Lil'idan's "Evasion" aura that increases his dodge chance by 25%. I have three B/B Unborn Val'kyrs, and this simple strategy has never failed me. (It will work for any set of rare level 25 Undead pets with Shadow Slash, though.) I haven't timed the fight, but the last time I used it, I beat Lil'idan in 10 rounds.

Val'kyr = Doom -> Haunt
Blighthawk = Lift-Off ( to buy time for Doom ) -> Ghostly Bite ( to buy even more time )
Should be dead here, if not, finish off with Infected Claws.
