Substitutes:

Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Didn't have any of the other pets on other strategies so I looked for a pet I had that can do the same, hopefully this helps others in the same boat.

Not gonna bother making a leveling strat for this one. The AoE damage is ridiculous.

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.
In Dragonflight Patch 10.2, the ability Time Bomb has been changed. This tag is marking strategies using Time Bomb so they can be reviewed.

Turn 4+
Keep track of Thorns and Photosynthesis, they should come off cd after the other, reapply them. Withers should always have speed advantage on all 3 fights so they shouldn't ever get a hit on you without both buffs active.

Hi, I'm testing this tdscript before adding it to the strat tab. I'm not sure if I'm doing anything wrong, but it doesn't seem to cast Thorns nor Photosynthesis.

Kotomine wrote on 2018-08-25 16:51:28

change both lines to "duration=0" and works

Added, thank you very much! I can't test it myself anymore until the WQ pops up again though.

This is all you need for a script:

ability(#2)
ability(#3)
ability(#1)

Thx Kotomine! It was working when I wrote it, but I already had them active.. only noticed it today now that the WQ is up and I'm back out grinding.

It can also be written like this:

standby [enemy(#3).active]
ability(Thorns:318) [!self.aura(Thorns:317).exists]
ability(Photosynthesis:268) [!self.aura(Photosynthesis:267).exists]
ability(#1)

The standby skips anything against the third pet, since it always dies by its own attack on its round #2.

This script worked for me, but I would not consider it "fast".

You're right. I've removed the Fast tag. :)

I did this today. I used Lil' Ragnaros (1, 2, 2), Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling (1, 2, 1) and Anubisath Idol (1, 1, 2) - in that order, I didn't swap or change them around, just used them one after the other.

It MAY be RNG dependant, but worked first go for me. Use your pets strategically and it should be reliable.

Pretty much soloed this with Electrified Razortooth (2/1/2). Start with lightning shield>paralyzing shock>jolt and pretty much use anything off-cd. When everything is on cd, simply pass. As a backup you can use Fel Flame (1/1/1).

Cerces wrote on 2018-08-25 09:28:33

Perfect strategy.

JJ wrote on 2018-08-22 14:57:56

I used Broot (or as I like to call him Groot) because I didn't have any of the suggested levelled.

I won the fight by using Ironbark and Photosynthesis when off CD and I had to use I Am Groot once.
