It's a...slow burn, if you will chortles I'll see myself out. Peeks back in You can use any pet that has Magma Wave/Cauterize combo, these were just my two with the highest health. I can get about 7 in if I keep it in the whole time til death, overkill usually. Your level pet should still have 403+ health (# more if beast?) before 3rd enemy comes in, which usually happens. I used Soul of the Forge instead of the Ashtone core with Deep Burn, Stoneskin, and Flamethrower. Keep stoneskin up, use flamethrower, then deep burn, and he was able to solo the first two bosses! then continue as above!

My leveling pet with 1020 hp also died. There's a lot of party-wide damage. Anyway, here's a tdBattlePetScript for this strategy:

I can get about 7 in if I keep it in the whole time til death, overkill usually. Your level pet should still have 403+ health (# more if beast?) before 3rd enemy comes in, which usually happens.
