It's a...slow burn, if you will chortles I'll see myself out. Peeks back in You can use any pet that has Magma Wave/Cauterize combo, these were just my two with the highest health. I can get about 7 in if I keep it in the whole time til death, overkill usually. Your level pet should still have 403+ health (# more if beast?) before 3rd enemy comes in, which usually happens. Yes, it is a very long fight, and... - finally having gotten to try the strategy, I see that - you can just as well switch in the levelling pet when Singing Sunflower dies - the aoe hits was not as hard as the direct hit. Also, some modification to speed up when levelling pet is full sunlighted health is probably a good idea? - it depends a bit on how much health the levelling pet has - like how many hits it can take before it dies.

I have a kinda long strategy but it seemed to work well with minimal damage to leveling pet.
Lava Crab 122
Magma Rageling 211
Leveling pet - More then 800 health should be sufficient

Magma Wave repeatedly
Cauterize below 1100
Bring in level pet after a Terrify
Afterword bring Lava Crab back in
When Lava Crab dies bring in Magma Rageling
Continue Magma Wave spam until enemy pet dies
Next enemy pet enters
Volcano
Flame Jet
keep passing letting Volcano finish the fight.

This worked fine for me using the alternative Blossoming Ancient as I don't have Broot. It's long but seems safe as my BA still had loads of health at the end. My L14 Trunks is now L16.

The higher health your Inspiring Song/Sunlight pet has, the lower health might be possible for your levelling pet. I have only tried the strat once, and "enemy 2" only got off one full aoe rotation before it was dead.

I am unsure about what amount of health are needed for the level pet, but assume quite high.
The idea about this fight is to use Sunlight and healing to wear down the backline pets a bit, and heal up your levelling pet as much as possible before Singing Sunflower dies.
Then you will try to finish off the dangerous second enemy as fast as possible, switch in your levelling pet when you know it is safe, and finish the fight with Broot.
Don't forget to switch in levelling pet when it is safe!
