I used Experiment 13 instead of Clockwork Gnome. Uranium rounds to fill and finish with Ion Cannon.

The current td script works just fine, but it's kinda overcomplicated. This one should be more than enough, but perhaps someone can even figure out a 3-liner!

Just did this strat. Was levelling a Mechantula so I swapped that in to finish off Rukus after my Clockwork Gnome died. Only got 71 experience with my hat on and didn't get credit for winning the fight.

Another good first pet is Cogblade Raptor with Batter and Exposed Wounds, provided that you repeat the latter one just before it dies.

Update on #1-2:
The strat indeed was included here but it was given up, the reasons are also below.
In general:
Let's continue with boosting the turrets against at least one of the boars.

The problem is that Brutus severely hurts the Mechs with its elemental attack, Winter Spirit.
I guess that putting a non-Mech pet would make its way, however, no concerns before they visit the garrison.
About the flyers, neither Ikky nor any of the Mists+ areas' moths are fast enough to maintain their initiative since their passive ends what makes them an easy prey, even with their Beast resistance.
And the Zandalari raptors – while easy to get – come in various breeds and their survivability is questionable.

A Hydraling, maybe? Or even better, a Wild [x] Hatchling?

There's some RNG involved here. I used this strat twice in a row and the CG dies before Brutus. The rest of the fight is a wash...
