I used an Infected Squirrel since I don't have the rat. Used Rabid Strike, then Corpse Explosion. Brought in the TMD and used the same rotation (Talons, Breath, Arm). Even though Flow was under the recommended 735, Arm didn't kill him. But, he was in a buff stage with 135 HP left, and attacked with my Level 1 Pet and killed him. Raised the lvl 1 to a 6!

Am new, but I was able to use this strat with extra moves added -
1. flyby
2. thunderbolt
3. flyby
4. explode (so whirlpool fades)
5. scorched earth
6. cataclysm
7. explode

dunno about RNG problems but this worked for me.

He always has 141 HP left. This strat does not work at all. I'm guessing Scorched Earth was supposed to be able to kill him once you Explode with your last pet but, it does not. It doesn't do the 61 damage that it should, probably because this is a boss and it receives reduced damage.

If that happens again in the future, just ask on discord to have the strategy moved, so you don't have to rewrite it. You seem to have manually moved it this time, so if you don't want to bother coming up with a new strategy for this specific fight, you can delete it with the red `-` on the right side of the strategy. Or keep it up for when you do come up with a strategy. :)
