This strategy worked like a charm! I used Chrominius' Ravage skill instead of Surge of Power. He killed both adds. My rota was: Ravage, Bite, Ravage, Bite, Ravage.

"Howl - Skrillix dies" I strongly recommend to use "Surge of Power" after "Howl" to make sure Skrillix really dies.

Tried and failed 4 times. Had a blue P/P fen crab for the last pet and it tore the 1/1/1/ Emerald proto-drake up. I switched abilities of Drake to 2/2/2 and that did the trick. Was able to emerald dream my way back but it was close just after I brought the drake in.

It would appear that if your Unborn Val'kyr is Poor (grey) quality, this strat doesn't work. Skrillix won't die on the howl round, and then everything goes to hell. I haven't found an alternative with the pet lineup I have.

It had a blue crab (!) after skrillix. I swapped my last pet, the emerald for a axebeak in case my chrominius would die. 3rd pet was a snake. cause after 3 attempts of utter failure I was tired of it!

Fast-forward to 2018, I had a lot of luck with using the Dream Whelpling and option 2. Swap out the Proto for the Dream Whelp, and it should be simple.

1-2-2, use the damage reduction and heal the moment you come in, spam Bite until everything is dead. Should have full health on Moth. Hope this helps!

I tried all 3 other strats and this 4th one is the only one that worked, using the Emerald Proto-Whelp for the third slot. But just barely. Without a heal right off the bat on the Whelp, he would have died from being whittled down in the back line.
