Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
This strategy has been built to be as fast as possible.
The strategy takes a while. Sit back, get yourself a warm drink and relax the scenery.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
The strategy offers a TD script that can be used with the TD Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

No need to start the fight over if Ikky gets frogged - I was still able to win w/an H/H Idol. (edited)

Not sure if this is viable as a permanent strat, but after ikky got frogged four times in a row, I switched to my bush chicken (critter-type, so immune to polymorph, but still has the flock attack) and won the fight. Worth a try, anyway, if you're having bad RNG. (My lineup was bush chicken + green proto whelps x2, but I only needed one.) (edited)

Was able to solo with ikky, but I black-clawed before every flock. Stars aligned and I got some good rng I suppose.

Emerald Proto-whelp just casts presence and dream constantly and nothing else so anyone following this script, ignore the 1,2,2 format for it an go 2,2,2 (edited)

Sinvanor, I'm suspecting something is wrong with your script usage. You seem to be having issues with several strategies that I can't get to repeat. Are your scripts working properly? Are your addons up to date? I've used this strategy and script dozens of times and never had any issues with it. Emerald Presence is only suppose to repeat if the current enemy is not attackable. Or, if EP doesn't exist. (edited)

Just a note - if you dont have a second EPW - the Emerald Whelpling from feralas or the Dream Whelpling from the area after Kil'jaden in TOS where you get your loot (all flavors of the raid including LFR) work well as back up EPW's. and both will work with this script.
