Most of the time, it serves as a more distinguished version of Emerald Proto-Whelp, with Emerald Presence and Emerald Dream combined into a potent protective measure. Because of this, you need all the Power coalesced in the P/P breed.

Its unique role comes from Toxic Skin, which combined with healing makes for an easy way out against bosses performing multiple hits per round, especially those with 2000+ HP.
