Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

This should work for a script. I'm not putting it in the strat yet, because I haven't been able to confirm that the stun swap works properly.

Really good strat. I tightened the script it up a little to soak Beaker's Headbutt with the Starlette then swap to the Whelpling. It will keep using the Whelpling until it wins or dies then swap to the Direbeak.

Improved it to use Predatory Strike straight away on Stickers if it will win the battle. This fight now usually lasts just 12 rounds.

Unless stunned, an H/H Starlette can pull out an additional complete WU regardless of the Scales' RNG. Less sturdy breeds can too but within tighter circumstances. It makes Nexus Whelpling likely to trigger dragonkin racial for its Mana Surge. This will be what I'm going to contain in the new description.

Could you tell me what's the point of Powerball? You're both slowed and against a flyer, and for the damage alone you don't always get the third round to pull it out.

Eekwibble

wrote on 2019-08-06 13:20:31

You can't always survive to land the 2nd WU on Breaker if you get crits from Scales and/or Breaker's Headbutt. The Powerball is just a filler but could help weaker Mana Surges guarantee the racial trigger.
I only use the PP IS and Nexus, so It's not really necessary for my setup. I haven't crunched the numbers to see what happens with less powerful breeds.

Remte

wrote on 2019-08-06 14:27:24

Thanks. I can see expanding the breed info at some point, now just to make sure the description actually matches the script… ^^

Remte

wrote on 2019-08-03 04:14:52

I have checked this one out.
While my goal was giving it the proper formatting, I decided it could see some improvements, and in return half of it has been changed. Please OP, give it a try. :)
If you don't like the changes for any reason, they can be easily reversed.

Another person has copied you with little to no difference in the final result, despite my changes you two might want to sort it out.

Gib wrote on 2019-05-12 02:05:28

I don't have a Whelpling, so I use a Nether Faerie Dragon instead and usually it can win the fight without needing the Direbeak

aelfraed wrote on 2019-07-25 19:31:25

Same here no need for 3rd pet. But first pet did wu/sc/wu/wu he was soing to die if he waited for sc to come off cd

Stormborne Whelpling is a lot easier to get than Nexus, and is a drop in replacement in this fight.
