I'm putting the warning here, since quite a few people have experienced this:

DO NOT GO AFK after this battle. If you do, the door will close, and re-doing the fight will not open it again. You'll have to drop out of the dungeon and start over. If you need to go AFK, go inside the door at least, or head to the next pet and AFK there.

I used Sea Pony (tidal wave, cleansing rain, pump) Plump Jelly (tentacle slap, rain dance and squeeze) and Fishy (water jet, cleansing rain, and pump) worked great.

I use a SS Rapana Whelk, a BB Shimmershell Snail, and a HP Mudshell Conch. It usually works without a problem, but I've found it can fail if the "bots" get more than 2 crits.

This failed the first time for me as my pet died to the enemy attack in round 1 before it could cast Acidic Goo. It's been a long time since I've looked at writing or modifying a script but I'm pretty sure there is a way to check to see if it is enemy round 2 and acidic goo is missing. Hopefully someone will come up with the answer, though I will try and find it too.

When you get through the door, DON'T talk to the gnome and click on the dialogue, it will send you outside to restart the whole thing. I don't know why I thought that was a good idea. Some of us dummies learn things the hard way...

Yeah, this comment deserves its place at the top of the comments section. Just wish I had read it before going into the kitchen to get breakfast. And it is true, you can re-do the fight, but the door will not re-open. I had to drop the quest and start over.

Don't go AFK after doing this battle.... the door will close and you will have to do the fight over again to get it back open... so make sure you run thru the door lol

Oh, no :( I had something similar happen when I borked the little vehicle run through the bombs. If your vehicle dies it won't respawn (that I could see), and I had to restart the whole dungeon.

I blew my first round in the vehicle too. However, I was able to continue anyway. The bombs didn't one-shot me, so I just had to stop every now and again to self heal.

Don't start over if you lose the vehicle. I lost mine almost immediately and ended up running through the bombs okay. Put up a personal shield if you have one, or wait until the bombs patrol a bit to the side and sometimes they won't even blow up. They don't hurt *too* much when they do.

As an spriest, and having did the bio break after and having to do the fight twice I missed the vehicle completely and just ran/dodged/shield/healed when needed.... there's always someone out there making more mistakes than you lol... in my case I can only imagine they missed the door by taking a break, ignored the vehicle (for 2 runs) and then just ran into the bombs lol
