If you have the H/S Clanking Scrapsorter, you can do it in 8 rounds using a different rotation:
R1: Poison Protocol
R2: Corrosion
R3: Void Nova (Coach Dies)
R4: Corrosion

If you're not using an H/S Clanking Scrapsorter then this altered strategy can take 1:24. I don't think this variation is crit-proof.

Yeah, this was a very specific strat modification based on the breed. I've only run it 200ish times, but so far no failures due to crits. I'm sure it can happen, but then there are very few pet battles out there that are truly crit proof (even the original isn't completely crit proof). For my part, I'm not as worried for crit proof on a repeatable fight as long as the odds of getting a crit failure are pretty low (1/20 is fine for me). Crit proof is more of a concern for me when doing something like the MoP/WoD tamer circuit and a failure has a much bigger impact on the result (less fights means a crit failure feels worse to me). Either way, hopefully this method is useful for someone out there besides me! Thanks for taking a look at it.

Update:
I checked how crit proof this was, but check my thoughts here:
1. Anomolous cannot be crit killed faster than 3 rounds due to the magic racial on the first hit and the damage of the 2nd hit not being high enough to crit kill, so anomolous is safe from crits.
2. Anomolous cannot crit kill the murloc at all, so that is safe
3. Anomolous is meant to kill the bird and the bird never gets a hit in, so a crit kill here only speeds up the battle and has no effect on the cooldowns (and only the void aoe can crit kill him)
4. Scrap sorter is faster than the dragon, so even if he crit kills the murloc early, he has fail safe + superior speed to protect him from a crit kill before getting off explode.
5. Scrap's punch ability is lower than explode damage even when critting, so as long as you always use explode when health <= 633, you can never crit kill the dragon before using explode on it.

So this variation of the strat appears crit proof. what do you think? (editiert)

Very nice. Is there a reason you chose to use Clanking Scrapsorter as the listed pet to indicate a pet with explode? Does it move to the opponent and explode faster? Or do you just like the look of it?

Just wanted to add that you can substitute the Claking Scrapsorter for almost any pet with explode and a human type attack (Ideally in first slot). I've tried it with Minfernal and Netherspace Abyssal (Crush as first slot). The best part is that with how the TD Script is written it will still work for both of those without any changes!

You don't need to bring in the carry pet, because Explode dumps all the xp onto the level pet without them coming in. :)
