It isn't too unlikely to just two-moth this.

Low XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
Script
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

My H/S Cerulean Moth (1-1-2) soloed this and stayed above 40% health til the end against a mixed mech/critter back line. Very nice.

Great strat, even my team of green and gray moths made it!

I've had a lot of wine and was trundling through Gnomer with my trusty Xu-Fu scripts, and on Guard Wolf pressing A, A, A ... A ... etc... and realised it was nearly finished and I was still with my first moth. A+++! (edited)

Amazing strat. First moth almost solo'ed, and didn't need the third at all.

Used it as a backup when my main strat failed with three fast moths. Worked fine and might have worked better if I'd bothered to time the Cocoon Strikes properly. :D

Kitsunaria wrote on 2021-02-16 11:28:24

I didn't have enough Level 25 moths with Alpha Strike, but those that used Slicing Winds instead still worked, key is the other two abilities (Moth Dust, Cocoon Strike)

Aridna wrote on 2020-12-04 04:13:38

The moth tactic did not work for me at all (didnt have that special one)... replacement moths didnt work either. Killed it EASY with Ikky (1,1,1) Ikky (1,1,1) - Harbinger of Flame (2,2,2) was not needed

I was just able to do this strat with just one moth. never had to switch, but it got close. that ashwing moth is pretty tough!

TD script needs some improvements as to not waste ability 3 when enemy has low HP and not use ability 2 if enemy is asleep. (edited)

arizonapie

wrote on 2020-08-21 12:02:54

I changed it to this:

ability(508) [enemy.hp>180]
ability(506) [!enemy.aura(498).exists & !enemy.aura(924).exists]
ability(504)

P/S H/S P/S and didn't need the 3rd one. Second one barely made it haha but great strat thanks

aelfraed wrote on 2018-12-31 04:18:43

I had a level 25 blue and 2 level 23 green moths. Just made it :-)

aelfraed wrote on 2019-04-30 06:56:26

Came back with 3 x level 25 blue, first almosd got a solo, easy finish with second. I have a couple level 23 might try to get some xp next time

Mergas wrote on 2019-01-15 23:39:16

If I had used a H/S instead of a P/S my Ashwing might have soloed the fight.

Мотыльки с "Безрассудным ударом" тоже подойдут. Правда у него откат дольше. Но это так, на всякий.

Awesome strat! I ended up doing it with only the first moth which somehow managed to stay alive the last 4 or so rounds with only 27 hp left lol
