Took inspiration from DragonsAfterDark's strategy. Re-Uploaded so comments weren't filled with correspondence.
Runeforged Servitor also works in the 2nd Slot. Just use Jolt instead of Metal Fist. I don't think it's possible to set it as a substitute without the same first slot ability, since it DOES matter which one they have in the first slot. |

3/11/22: A big thank you to Shellbellaa for offering better & more stable steps for the portion of the fight against Chipper! The steps & script have been updated with their suggestion. ^^
12/13/20: Swapped the Lesser Voidcaller for the Voidwiggler, since it seems more stable, and more able to take on Bloog. You can take one crit from Powerball, but probably not two depending on your Shadow Shock hits, and it still might be susceptible to low rolling Shadow Shocks. (I missed updating a couple of things, my apologies--should be good now) Video for Fight Made a new strat for this fight (14 rounds) here |

Any Level 7+ Pet
|
![]()
Why? I like to challenge myself :p
Technically you can use any pet BUT if your level pet is lower than 506HP there is a chance at round 11 it will be swapped in. You will need to swap in your Timeless Mechanical Dragonling, continue and swap back into Microbot (TD script will allow for this). This will take an extra round and a few seconds. You can use Alert! instead of Lock-On. This is has more chance of failure (about 2% instead of <0.1%), a bit slower animations (IMO) but the advantage is that you might get a chance to end 3 rounds earlier. |

I used P/B Sister of Temptation and P/P Iron Starlette. I didn't test other breeds but it should be fine.
The 3rd pet I never needed but anything Strong vs Fliers would be good. I used Nexus Whelpling but Blood Boil or really anything be fine to finish off 3rd enemy if needed. |

One of the more challenging fights, so expect the strategy to fail on enemy critical hits (Mudslide makes them even more dangerous).
(~11 rounds) Please make sure you are using P/P breed of the Starlette, other breeds won't one-shot Bone Crusher with Wind-Up into 100% increased damage. |

Frankenstein strategy and TD script modified from Strategy by Buuloki on Wowhead and Strategy added by Citra#2161. Anubisath Idol required just a bit too much RNG.
Added lines to TDScript for any third pet with magic abilities to be usable. Dragonkin 3rd is still ideal. Leveling pet is even a possibility since Star will most likely almost finish off Chipper. |

I've used this strategy for several fights, I follow the steps to the letter. And RNG does play a role in it. I do win more times than lose with it.
I started putting Shadow Shock in the 2nd round and Unholy Ascension in the 3rd. That way Bloog gets the benefit of having 25% increased damage from Anomalus' first hit as well. I understand all pets get that "benefit", but why deny Bloog from the pleasure of it as well?

Your version won't work with B/B Val'kyr:
T1 Curse of Doom
T2 Shadow Shock ? --> misses Bloog
T3 Unholy Ascension
T4 Corrosion
T5 Poison Protocol
Bloog dies and Bone crusher comes in
T6 Void Nova
T7 Corrosion (25% chance that you can't use Corrosion because of Headbutt + Bone crusher has full hp (Devour)
--> Nexus Whelpling can't finish the fight
With H/H Val'kyr:
Actually the same strategy like the original but 10 rounds (longer) and much more RNG. It fails when anomalus gets too many critical hits or Curse of Doom hits critical or Bone Crusher crits with Horne Gore (also depends which Nexus Whelpling breed you are using)

In this case, I know the author of the strat also responds to comments, where the comments say something useful.
In my experience, when people leave a short "It didn't work" note, they usually made a mistake. Maybe they used a pet with the wrong Speed, maybe they didn't do a Pass where it was indicated, sometimes they were even using the team and strat from a completely different battle. :)
Sometimes there genuinely is a problem with the strat. This is where the Curators and others come in, checking the strat for weaknesses, and fixing it or removing it if it can't be fixed.
Since most failure reports with no details are wrong, it's not good to waste people's time investigating them. Instead, help them by providing the information they need.
If the strat failed for you, and you want your comment to be taken seriously:
1. Specify EXACTLY which species and breeds you used.
2. Specify whether you read the strategy from the site and executed it manually, or downloaded and used the tdScript.
3. Specify EXACTLY where the first unexpected thing happened, the first thing that deviated from what the strat predicts. What died too early? What didn't die when it was supposed to? What attack missed?
4. If possible, provide a log. You can see your log in the Pet Battle tab of your chat box. You can pull that out, make it bigger, screenshot it. Better still, you can use the addon Battle Pet Log Keeper from Curseforge, and do /pblk and Save Battle when the battle you want to log is complete.
Almost any strat can fail to a really unlucky string of crits, and some difficult challenge strats like the Family ones may fail more than anyone likes, but the people behind this site do their best to promote well-working strats. Do your part. Provide useful information.

I use this strat at the moment, and have never failed with it. I use a H/H Valk, but looking at it, a B/B should be equally good. I use a P/P Nexus Whelpling, which Mutanis indicates is inferior to the P/B in this case, but it has never given me any problem. Anomalus has no other breeds. (edited)

Sounds you fell into Mutanis' numerical breakdown of probabilities. Yeah, a lot af strats are vulnerable to 2 crits at just the wrong places, so about 1 in 400 chance, and that doesn't happen enough to get much notice, or to care about.
