Short and sweet, and seemingly foolproof.
Shadowlands Update: Still works in pre-patch. The Micro-Oppression Unit will regain his speed after turn 5, so your finisher should be faster than 300. /way 65.4 57.6 CK-9 Micro-Oppression Unit |

This strategy works very well, and might be adapted to utilize a leveling pet. The script, however, just uses any third pet abilities in the order of 3,2,1. If any of those abilities don't have a cooldown, then the other abilities won't be executed. The script also assumes that your Boneshard and Ikky have their default names.

RNG heavy fight with Shock and Awe stun chance and 1-3 hits of U-238 Rounds. Tried a lot with Swarm abilities but with the Lift-Off it's hard to benefit from them with later pets. Sunfire Kaliri is there as Backup. Usually, the Poison DoT and the Zandalari Raptor do the job alone. You need the Raptor to have >300 Speed and I think you also need >300 Power for the Raptor and at least 260 Power for the Bandicoon so Black Claw + Shattered Defenses guarantee Poison does 450+ damage (which is the amount of HP the enemy resurrects with on Failsafe). (I guess most comments about Raptors not being able to apply Shattered Defenses are caused by breeds not matching the Speed requirement, so the script will now send a text message when your pet is too slow) |

Having seen some people make use of Tinytron I tried a few combinations with him. This exact setup did work if the CK didn't stun anyone and either the Volcano or the Headbutt managed to stun him. All pets level 25 rares.

Honestly, Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling does not need to be in this for it to work, you can just let Boneshard die and go to Ikky. (edited)

if you have boneshard use blistering cold, chop, bonestorm, then blistering cold again,
you can skip the pandaren dragonling altogether and go straight to black claw flock ikky and win

1. If you can't get Bleed from Chop onto CK-9, you *will* need to bring in your MPD to finish off the enemy.
2. If Ikky is hit with a crit from U-238 and it drops him below 50%, the strat could fail outright.
While this is a good strat, I can't say it's going to work 100% of the time.
Here's a simplified script:
change(#2) [round=3]
change(#3) [round=5]
change(#2) [self(#3).dead]
ability(Decoy:334)
ability(Blistering Cold:786)
ability(Chop:943)
ability(#2) [self.round=1]
ability(Flock:581)

Tried a second time and Ikky got to keep more than 700+ health, then this strat worked. Definitely not a guarantee though

a) Both rounds of [U-238 Rounds] get two shots in (25% chance) AND
b) At least one of the second pair of [U-238 Rounds] crits. (10% chance)
So the failure rate in this manner would be about 2.5%, or 1 in 40. I'll call that acceptable!

The other 25%, Shock and Awe stuns your MPD as you swap it in.
The reason to keep Boneshard in for the Chop is so that it can take the stun, if it happens.
So if you want to swap in the MPD early, ya got to ask yourself one question: "Do I feel lucky?" :D (edited)
