This is a wonderful strategy I found on wowhead, published by Thulsadoom on April 6 2017 (link). With this you can level two pets, assuming they have more than 250hp. It works every time and I think it should be shared here too. I also made a script for it (my first!), hope it works out for you!

A little quicker than other strats here.
Leveling pet has to survive a 248 elemental hit on turn 2. Its possible to kill the first and second pet quicker than the turn order here with a crit, I updated the script to handle this. With a crit you can knock off anywhere from 1-3 turns. |

This is one of my first published strats ...i shortened repeat spell turns using x(#)... I originally found this strat here tale
Curator Note: OP hasn't been on in quite a while, and Brood of Mothallus' family changed from Beast to Critter. Ion Cannon hp values have been adjusted in the strat and tdScript. |

This strategy was originally posted by WoWHead user ender1111. It's notable because it blinds the turn 1 Sunlight ability, allowing any level 1 to survive, regardless of HP. I designed the script around a S/S Mech Scorpion & P/S Eternal Strider, so I can't guarantee it'll work with other breeds.

This is a variation of Remte's strat with Saintgabrial's switch to the Zep, David G's workarounds for pesky crits, and my own change of the Zep's abilities so that it works 100% of the time without ever having to restart it. The basic, crit-free method is written here, the workarounds are buried in the TDScript.

Carry pet takes 0 damage (must be in slot 2).
Early enemy crits can ruin strat. Only tested with P/S mindlasher. P/B probably better. H/B unknown. P/P too slow. |

I use P/S Jademist Dancer, but i'm confident the S/S would give similar results. The slower breeds will also work, but you will need to Start with Acid Rain, and adjust accordingly.
Backline Carry Pet takes about 165 damage from Sunlight--more for Mechanical, less for Critter. (You could use just about any mechanical with anti-beast damage to finish, or a Mechanical Axebeak) |

Level pet min health for non-Rematch users: Critters: 290, Non-Critters: 436; Mechanicals: 654 Thanks to Failsafe, Mechanical levelers will be fine with less than 654HP. But since the leveler will receive three hits, this is not straightforward to calculate. (Roughly 400HP should be OK.) Instead of the Blind Rat you can also use a Frostfur Rat. Instead of the Menagerie Custodian you can use any pet with strong attacks against Beasts. Be creative! |

On both occasions, my Nexus died while Brood was underground, so Chrominius took the big hit when he came in,
My first thought is that the problem is the change to Howl (but that was quite a long time ago!). As written, in the current Howl aura, Howl doubles the damage of Bite, but not of Surge of Power. So I tried it again, with that in mind.
Howl->Bite is useless now; you will be just as well off with two Bites.
I switched the last three moves "Howl->Bite->Surge of Power" to Bite->Howl->Surge of Power, and it worked nicely.
I'm asking the Strategy Curators to have a look.

Sea Pony 2 2 2
Any level 2+ pet (needs to have at least 165 HP or be Magic to live through the one-time party damage you'll receive from Siren)
Level 25 Mechanical pet (or any strong against beasts for Mothallus).
Start the fight with Cleansing Rain which will both heal you and change the weather after Siren cast his sunny day spell. Then use Pump four times to kill Siren, while he recharges after using his main attack. Once Toothbreaker shows up, immediately use Tidal Wave to sweep away the little carrots. Bring in your level pet, do any attack, then back to Sea Pony. Use Pump to finish Toothbreaker. When Mothallus comes in, swap to your mechanical pet (I use Mini Thor usually) and just use whatever strong attacks to finish it off. Hope that helps someone!

Second attempt, Nexus survived the DoT and died during Brood's burrow. Chrominius came in and ate the Burrow attack, then did Howl > Bite > Surge and won.
This is kinda risky.

Start with Spawn - use Shallow You Whole the first 2 rounds, then Dive. Then, Swallow you Whole until the first pet is dead. On Toothbreaker, use Swallow You Whole the first turn, then Dive when available (Thunderbolt if it isn't available and Toothbreaker is under ground). Spam Swallow You Whole until Toothbreaker dies.
When Brood of Mothalus comes out, leave Spawn out for the first turn (Brood will cast Acidic Goo). Immediately switch to your carry pet. Brood goes into Burrow that round, so there is no risk of the carry pet getting hit with damage. Then, immediately switch to Darkmoon Tonk. Shock and Awe - Ion Cannon blows it up.

I usually do what I think of as the "standard" Skimmer-or-strider and Tonk strategy.
I just tried this strat now, and was blown away that it actually worked! :) I don't know whether I'm more amazed that we're using a Nexus Whelpling without Mana Surge, or that a low-health Whelpling killed a full-health Toothbreaker with Tail Sweep alone, but it's awfully cute. :D
