Sophic Amalgamation is an alternative #1 pet. It's slightly better due to dying early in the event it's swapped back into AND you've been given/gotten a crit (Rare but possible).
Baa'l/Baa'lial are an alternative (Select Darkflame/Trample - Script will work) but can only survive a single Thundertounge crit (Due to this, script will always use alternative steps unless you use original 7 round version in the comments). Death Seeker is BIS as the extra health/alt steps ensures double pump crit safety |

Singing Sunflower can only survive 1 crit.
MOD: Have modified the script to account for losing Sunflower early. It will potentially save a normal run but you will need to the select the following abilities if you want it to work: * On Baa'l; select Darkflame, Scorched Earth * On Baa'lial; select Trample * On Death Seeker; select Eyeblast, Eye Beam Alternative pets #1 pets: * Golden Chirper S/S - This is a few seconds slower due to animations. * Soul of the Aspects (untested) - This is a the best (theoretical) for this strat BUT is a shop pet. |

I did this with PP Iron Starlette, but any should work really. Just use Baa'l until it dies.

This is based off of Smithbob's strat and is modified to include two leveling pets.
First time writing a strat and script. Feedback is appreciated (particularly on the script). *After running this strat whenever the quest is up for several weeks with no problems, I encountered a hitch today. One of my leveling pets (Pulsating Maggot) had the 'drain blood' ability and used it when it was swapped in. It wasn't a huge deal, but I have no idea how to fix the script to solve that problem. Would love some suggestions. **Credit for the new script goes to DragonsAfterDark. |

Works well as long as Swog doesn't Crit on Pump. Also a little bit RNG if Slicing Wind keeps single hitting. If you don't like the RNG, swap the leveling pet for a 3rd like Ikky. Battle giving ~1k XP for me.

i have tested this strat 4 times, and even with bad RNG (and some user error...) it has worked every time, i do not yet know if breed matters (but it might, my nexus whelpling is PP and sometimes only barely kills swog) so please let me know if this worked for you or not.

~ Barring a Stun from Arcane Dash, Brightpaw will always die on round 7, so you might make a Stun & No Stun section for Brightpaw to outline the moves. My advice here would still be to avoid using Arcane Dash on Prowl again to keep a second stun from happening, which can make the Zeppelin's moves below unstable. It's difficult to time something when the enemy is faster and people may not be keeping track of the enemy's moves.
~ My rounds for the Darkmoon Zeppelin looked like this to make when I Explode a little more stable:
1. Missile (Skip if Brightpaw died on Round 9)
2. Missile (Skip if Brightpaw died on Round 9)
3. Decoy
4-8. Missile (5 hits)
9. Explode
This is possible because Decoy is Blocking the Pump hit and one of the Thundertongue hits. All three Thundertongue hits can crit and your DZ will be fine.
~ All this and slot #3 with the Nexus Whelp still makes this incredible RNG. I'd suggest swapping the NW out for an Enchanted Pen. It's magic and weak to Swog's attacks, it's faster so Thundertongue does even less damage, you can Evanescence for a Pump, and keep Forboding Curse on to help augment Quills' damage.
