Players can unlock Junkyard Tinkering via Pascal-K1N6 on Mechagon Island. Blueprints that teach Pascal-K1N6 how to craft various items drop from rare mobs and other activities on the island.

To craft this pet players will need to find the blueprint, complete the short quest to teach Pascal-K1N6, and then gather:

Chain Ignitercoil x2

The Microbot XD Blueprints show on Wowhead as dropping from the Rustbolt Resistance Paragon Cache, where every time players earn 10,000 reputation beyond exalted with the faction they can collect the paragon cache. The droprate from this cache is 12 %

It also shows as dropping from the Unshackled Paragon Cache from the Horde's Faction in Nazjatar. The droprate from this cache is 0.2 %
