I had a similar issue. Kafi had 50 points left, and I was using a lvl 1 pet, so there was not chance. However, adding a few moves before explode helped. I had an HH spore and HB Yeti.

A few of these panda stats looks like they've had stealth buffs/nerfs to them. Ill have to look into them when I get a chance

When dragonflight came out it looks like their was a stealth buff to some of these strats. At the time I ran this 10 times and never failed, even when getting stunned.

I would need to go back and check these out and adjust them (or might just delete them).

Ahh okay, that makes sense then. It figures, things always get some sort of change up whenever a new xpack comes out. I did test out your strat a few more times and I did end up winning, just takes a bit of luck with RNG. Great strategies overall, friend! I do use many of the ones you've posted :)

I've added the RNG tag for now until I can get to it!

I want to get round to running some strats this week but running M+ on my Resto Shaman is tough and I'm getting so close to KSM. :p (edited)

Working strats are the best, for sure :) Couldn't pet battle without them personally as I tend to be terrible at coming up with my own strats, lol. Loved this! Started looking at different strats for a friend with a low number of pets and it made me start looking at some of my strats as I went through for different ones. This is AMAZINGLY simple.

My rare spore was dead but I decided to try it with an uncommon green version that was 1600hp. Flawless still. Great strat.

I tried it with some other Explode pets and had success with 1546hp rare H/B Darkmoon Zeppelin and 1400hp rare Iron Starlette but did have some issues with others so there should be multiple paths to success with various explode pets.

I can't remember the exact values needed for explode but I have to go back and I'll double check the numbers :)
