Substitutes:

Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Very easy and just 1 wild pet. This was fun!

I don't have the S/S breed, but will note a few things about your turn order.

It doesn't matter if you're faster, or not, but if you're Blinkstriking on Turn 3 you're breaking your own barrier.

Turn 1 : Prismatic Barrier -- // -- Countess uses Lift-Off
Turn 2 : Pass -- // -- Lift-Off comes down, eats one charge of Prismatic Barrier
Turn 3 : Your barrier still has one charge. If you're faster than the Countess you should pass again. Since I was slower I used Arcane Storm. The Countess eats the last Barrier charge meaning I take no damage, then she gets hit by Arcane Storm.

Arcane Storm is nice to use here because it'll do more damage than Blinkstrike on the initial hit, and then additional damage each time after because it gets a bonus to its damage if Arcane Winds is up when you cast it.

This is a good fight to use this pet's moveset on, so I agree that it's nice to see it used here. I always enjoy strats that give new pets a chance to shine. That said, I had the P/P breed, and bringing some back-up in case of RNG is advisable. I imagine it's the same for the S/S breed.
