Does NOT work in 10.2.5.
Couldn't even get the first enemy down, and that's with a third mechanical pet...

Agreed, this strategy seems to be from before there were backline pets on boss pets as well. (edited)

in SL, you clearly need a third pet. Failed twice until i got a proper third pet to finish the two additional pets.

Mandus wrote on 2017-04-25 16:41:19

managed to do it with Blackfuse bombling (2,1,2) and lil' bling (2,1,2).

Zandalar wrote on 2017-03-29 17:56:16

Zandalar pet (S/S) with black claw + group hunt does solo the boss, the rest is up to you.

Rzzr wrote on 2017-04-01 09:22:49

Worked for me. They both died at the same time and then used Teroclaw and a 23 leveling pet on the rest.

Pixylz wrote on 2017-03-28 16:17:31

Multiple tries of Alt 1 failed to even kill Son of Scum. Cogblade Raptor was B/B and Starlette was P/B. I could not try Alt 2 but Alt 3 worked like a charm.

Hummouse wrote on 2017-04-01 07:59:03

Same here. Alt 3: The Zep took care of Skum by itself. Then I used Arcane Eye to clean up the back line pets. I only tried once, but this strat with the Raptor did not work for me.

Blackbloom wrote on 2017-03-29 09:57:58

Managed this fight (just) with Nordrassil Wisp as the third pet.

work in progress is the best way to say it. Did not work for me. I think I will come back in a month. Still the best help guide out there. See ya after a few weeks

Darielyia wrote on 2017-03-28 23:09:04

I thought the boss fights were only supposed to have the boss, but I'm also getting two backup pets. On Son of Skum I did anyway, still working through the rest.

That was a change on the PTR a couple weeks ago. In the first version the bosses did not have backline pets. They made the bosses a bit more difficult, but also removed the Elite buff from the backline pets.

Shadowjk wrote on 2017-03-28 23:32:30

Used Iron Starlette / Stiched Pup -howl setup to kill boss and then Emerald proto 2-2-2 for killing the extras on every fight, making sure to keep it healed up whenever it comes in for the next fight

* Morning pickiness mode ON *

I just had to check the Iron Starlette as presented, on the Ashlei fight.
The Toxic Smoke DoT WILL eat the Supercharge as I've suspected. Is it intended?

*MPM OFF*

(No arcane tools involved – just following the IDs :))
