This strategy is a combination of one by Flexmiqq and Shenk. I used Iron Starlette in place of Sunreaver Micro-Sentry as I did not have one. Worked like a charm on the first try. Have fun!

Well, I ended up changing it around completely, but I really enjoy how it turned out! It is a few rounds slower, but it seems pretty stable, and that's always my first priority. My Dibbler is an H/P, let me know how your breed fares. Enjoy! |

Only tested with P/B Iron Starlette and P/B Nether Faerie Dragon. Let me know if it works with other breeds.
Some chance of RNG if the Iron Starlette doesn't get off the second Wind-Up (On 3 tests, Iron Starlette always got off the second Wind-Up). This likely wouldn't be an issue with a faster Iron Starlette. |

i came across this strat on the bliz forums posted by sunfirehawk2010... they gave credit to Lhumen and stated "with bad RNG it can fail... if the Iron Starlette is stunned twice. I didn't find this strat listed on here, tried it out and it worked most of the time

There's a small chance that Burrow does low damage (488-490 of its 488-732 damage range) so Tika's Beast passive won't be active to kill Slugger with Face Bite in Round 4.
Runehoof's ability usage seems to be random, but Headbutt's Stun & Horn Attack's Interrupt trigger Resilient so it's very unlikely that Dibbler will suffer both of them and won't get Explode off. (10-12 rounds) |

This pet battle was a bit too easy almost. Parasitic boarfly is the mvp, and will be able too deal with Slugger and a chunk of Runehoof. Ashwing is also quicker then runehoof so you can finish him up to set up a clean victory against Moth balls RNG.

The Sea Gull uses unattackable against Slugger's unattackable. Cerulean Moth and Nether Faerie Dragon are strong against 2nd and 3rd fighters. Note continue to check flying pets' speed advantage and don't use Counterspell once it goes away. I have found this team to work at least 4 out of 5 times.

It seemed odd, when I copied the script into Rematch it didn't seem long enough for what the fight lasted.
It starts out with use(Vague de puissance:593) [round=4]
then 11 lines later it has
change(next)
That can't be the end of the battle. When I run the script (first time using it I was slightly confused that instead of pushing one button for the entire fight, I had to keep pushing A to advance to the next step until the end of the fight. I mean, what's the difference if I have to push 1, or 2, or 3 to advance the steps or A each step? Where's the auto feature here?)
When I just copied the strategy from the Rematch string, then started the battle, nothing happened, the auto button was greyed out. It only became available when I copied the TD Script into the team. I'm assuming I need to copy both. But, like I said, it failed the three times I tried it with the enemy's second and third pet still alive.
Am I doing something wrong? And if so, what do I need to change? I deleted my team for this battle, imported the Rematch string, saved it to this target, tried to do a battle, auto was greyed out, I Forfeited the match, copied the TS script, started the battle again. Auto was available, but I had to press it to advance through the steps. And still lost the battle.
I ran the battle again, doing everything manually, reading the step, pushing the corresponding button (1, 2, or 3) and won the battle, just like all the times before.
I then started a new battle using auto, which seems to be working as it followed the steps perfectly as I read which ability was to be used, it used the right one. Yet my first pet died with Slugger still having 321 health, and I lost the battle again. But it can't be the script because I watched the steps, they were the same abilities that I read when pushing the auto button.
I guess it must be RNG that just happened to hit when I used TD script auto and not manual. The really odd thing is, I'd never lost a fight with this strategy when I followed the steps manually. I must have done this fight at least a hundred times before using TD script. (edited)

There are several people who investigate reports of problems with strategies on Xu-Fu's. There are designated Strategy Curators, and other regulars who read comments and are interested in the latest.
In my experience, when people leave a short "It didn't work" note, they usually made a mistake. Maybe they used a pet with the wrong Speed, maybe they didn't do a Pass where it was indicated, sometimes they were even using the team and strat from a completely different battle. :)
Sometimes there genuinely is a problem with the strat. This is where the Curators and others come in, checking the strat for weaknesses, and fixing it or removing it if it can't be fixed.
Since most failure reports with no details are wrong, it's not good to waste people's time investigating them. Instead, help them by providing the information they need.
If the strat failed for you, and you want your comment to be taken seriously:
1. Specify EXACTLY which species and breeds you used.
2. Specify whether you read the strategy from the site and executed it manually, or downloaded and used the tdScript.
3. Specify EXACTLY where the first unexpected thing happened, the first thing that deviated from what the strat predicts. What died too early? What didn't die when it was supposed to? What attack missed?
4. If possible, provide a log. You can see your log in the Pet Battle tab of your chat box. You can pull that out, make it bigger, screenshot it. Better still, you can use the addon Battle Pet Log Keeper from Curseforge, and do /pblk and Save Battle when the battle you want to log is complete.
Almost any strat can fail to a really unlucky string of crits, and some difficult challenge strats like the Family ones may fail more than anyone likes, but the people behind this site do their best to promote well-working strats. Do your part. Provide useful information.
