This was the first comp I tried on this and it worked straight away so I have not looked to see where crits might prevent this strat from working. Any feedback would be appreciated. |

Another alternative to a strategy by Shenk and my other strategy.
Note: There is a chance that Court Scribe can die before Marshmallow comes in, just switch to Draenei Micro Defender and continue normally, Rocket should have died from Curse of Doom, and 2x Metal Fist will bring Marshmallow to 556 health, enough to die from Explode (which you can use on your Mechanical round if your DMD "dies"). |

Back line pet will have to survive 3 rounds of Cyclone.
Beware aquatic leveling pets. Leveling pet will see action, but may die if too low a level and receive 50% XP. |

Battle is usually 13-14 rounds, 1:23-1:43 duration with an average somewhere around 1:33-1:36. There's some variance in speed due to crits, but this is a reliable strat. It can't fail, it's completely safe.
(Because the first pet is a safe. He he.) |

I added this strategy because I didn't have pets for a single other strat already here. I have required the levelling pet to be flying because Marshmallow is weak against flying, and it's easy to kill her before she kills them. However it could work for pets that are strong against beasts or have some avoidance.

If you have an aquatic pet, you must cleanse the area BEFORE he casts his aoe or it will die. With my strategy I never lost a match and never lost a level 1 pet. Fight takes about 2 minutes. This is my first strategy so please bear with me. I don't know how to write scripts yet. 19 total rounds. If you have a level 5+ pet you can do a netherblast before you cast consume magic the fist time which will give greater damage and cut a round out of the fight. In about 200 fights I lost the leveling bonus once because of a huge 827 critical Missile to Marshmallow.

I have no complaints about this strat. It's quite efficient and has worked every time I use it.
That said, I've done some modifications that serve me in my particular situation. I'm not using a level 1 carry pet. I'm using this strat right now to top off my level 23s.
And before I explain what I'm doing, you should know that the Iron Starlette and the Nexus Whelpling I'm using are both P/P.
Turn 2, after the swap to Nexus Whelpling. Unless the Iron Starlette gets a crit on the second Wind-Up, Jinx is going to still be alive. This has played out every time I've used this strat except once. Jinx is going to survive the double Wind-Up. If a P/P Iron Starlette cannot 2-shot Jinx, no other Starlette can.
With this in mind, your turn is going to be Tail Sweep with Nexus Whelpling. So Turn 2, with the Nexus Whelpling is going to be Tail Sweep. And when Jinx dies, the Dragonkin buff is going to kick in.
So, when Rocket comes in, I take advantage of the Dragonkin buff and use Tail Sweep on Rocket. Then use Sear Magic to get rid of the Cyclone (which slows down the battle to a snail's pace), and any other debuffs.
Next, Tail Sweep. Rocket will usually drop below 50% health, which means the Dragonkin buff is back.
The next Tail Sweep, with Dragonkin buff will not kill Rocket (outside of a crit), but the following Tail Sweep will.
Which means you get to open with Dragonkin buff Tail Sweep on Marshmallow, The next Tail Sweep will drop Marshmallow well below 640, which means your Starlette has nothing to do but Explode. (edited)

Swap to your NW. Tail sweep until Jinx is dead.
Sear Magic when Rocket enters, then Tail sweep until Rocket dies.
(This is just to make it clearer for dumb people like me! I couldn't figure out why my leveling pets were taking damage from Rocket's storms.)
