3		Lazey	* 9.0.2 approved * Not a very smart usage of Blood in the Water X right now, I've never seen the Gnash Bleeding effect going off properly to make it a guaranteed hit. But even with the 75% chance to miss, it can one-shot pets in round 1. But the fish is quite slow compared to other 8.2 legendary pets so you can easily find ways to avoid it or use Mechs, Undead or Magic pets to survive it. Because I didn't see many options for a pet to soak/avoid a possible one-shot in round 1 and then being really effective for more rounds I decided to use a pet with self-destruct and then defeat this fish with Black Claw + Flock (you can use other pet families with Flock as long as they have 264+ Speed). Not a very smart usage of Blood in the Water X right now, I've never seen the Gnash Bleeding effect going off properly to make it a guaranteed hit. But even with the 75% chance to miss, it can one-shot pets in round 1. But the fish is quite slow compared to other 8.2 legendary pets so you can easily find ways to avoid it or use Mechs, Undead or Magic pets to survive it.

Because I didn't see many options for a pet to soak/avoid a possible one-shot in round 1 and then being really effective for more rounds I decided to use a pet with self-destruct and then defeat this fish with Black Claw + Flock (you can use other pet families with Flock as long as they have 264+ Speed).

First try, Zandalari Kneebiter died immediately round 1. Second try, Ikky died immediately round 6. Third try, both died prematurely. This is either total RNG or the breed of the Kneebiter does matter (though the breed that was used is not mentioned anywhere). (edited)

Blood in the Water has a 50% hit chance--if it hits, Kneebiter & Ikky die. If it doesn't, the strat works great. Thus RNG fight. I don't think the breed would matter--Blood in the Water packs a punch.

Still works in 9.0 pre-patch. killed 2 of the ikkys but last was full health when won.

I found if your Zandalari Kneebiter dies after you cast Black Claw in the second round, you will have to restart the fight. Next time it worked perfect for me.
