This strat doesn't seem to always work as written. It worked the other day when Erris was in the garrison, but today failed. Fortunately, my carry pet was level 19, so it was able to finish the fight successfully the second time. The first time, Spores killed my Whelpling rather easily. The second, Dusty killed it before it could do anything.

At best, this strat should be tagged with RNG.

Just following the directions I used Arcane storm again after Mana Surge finished, but at that point I was already facing Salad, so when I swapped to my levelling pet it died to the entangling roots. I had to start over.

An alternative for Spores/Dusty/Salad: Chrominius (2,_,_), Any level 1+ Pet, Gahz'rooki (2,_,_)

Just keep doing Arcane Explosion, this should kill two of the pets. When Chrominius dies pick your leveling pet, swap to Gahz'rooki and use Tail Slap to clean up.

can confirm. Arcane Explosion 'til Chrominius is dead, clean up with Ghaz (2,2,1)

There's probably even room to tuck in a level pet next to Ghaz for how well this worked

Since the revamp of Xu-Fu I cant find the Erris fights. When I search for Erris all that comes up is Spores, Dusty, & Salad. What am I doing wrong? Or how do I find the other fights?

Puddle Terror (1,1,2) soloes this fight with ease. Simply open with Dive and use it when available, keep up Nature's Ward and shoot Water Jets to kill your opponents.

Found Moon, Mouthy, and Carl today with Kura. Use an Amber Moth(112) and Darkmoon Zep (122). Always use Cocoon Strike when available, then Moth dust when available, then Slicing Wind. Took out Moon and Mouthy then Carl down to 318, moth died. Brought in Zep then Explode. Level'ing pet went from 23 to 25 - which was nice.

This absolutely doesn't work for me. Sprouts Blinding Poison in the first round prevents Arcane Storm from landing and prevents any attack at all in round two. Whelp dies in round four or five and Sprouts is still kicking.

I think your in the wrong fight. This fight is VS - Spores, Dusty and Salad.

No Sprouts in this fight and none of these pets have Blinding Poison.
Sprouts is in Alternative 4. VS - Runts, Sprouts and Prince Charming.

Tried this with a P/B breed of Nexus Whelpling and it worked just fine. Had to us a Tail Sweep to finish off Dusty, but my Whelpling survived and I was able to finish the battle without any hiccups.
