HORU CLOUDWALKER
Barnaby - Ghastly Rat (H/S, S/B) - Restored Revenant NOTE !!! If Barnaby land critical hit OR Bomber get stunned, just retreat and repeat. You won't get any damage nor 10% pets health penalty at this stage ;) NOTE 2 !!! In round 14, in case Restored Revenant gets critical hit and couldn't finish its move, just switch to Ghastly Rat, do Ghostly Bite and then finish with Barnaby ;))) As of Ghastly Rat, it must be speed breed, tried both H/S and S/B breeds, both worked fine for me. |

It is RNG. It really all depend on how much damage your Iron Starlette does in the end. Otherwise Alpha will have 70 something HP left and because you go last your pet will get killed. I would recommend P/P Iron Starlette to do maximum damage.

Slot#3 is for backup, please make sure to have a standard Mech attack set on your pet. You could use Lil' Bling as a substitute if you don't mind it being killed or at low HP for Hardmode reasons. Prioritize Make it Rain over Inflation then and better bring a backup with Ion Cannon to be prepared for multiple coins missing. (there's still a chance that you don't need your backup) Created and tested on 8.3 PTR |

I have only tried it with SB Mechanical Axebeak and PB Stormwing, if something doesn't work with other breeds, I will add the restriction |

Usually wins on round 23-25. RNG crits don't seem to be a problem.
I've only tested S/S Sneaky Marmot, but H/B may work; it has the necessary speed. |

With the memories of Stratholme, I am sure Sneaky Marmot was baited into the fight only to be devoured by the beasts. I've had another plan, though.

Squirky ducks a lot, between Bubble and the rounds Bomber uses Howl. Using this strat, Bomber hits Squirky twice, in rounds 4 and 6, with Tail Sweep (462 damage), one of them under a Howl debuff, for a combination of 1387 damage. Squirky has 1441 HP, so a crit on either of them guarantees a failure. I reckon that's a ~10% chance of failure on any given run.
The rest of the battle seems solid, if you avoid that early crit.

1 -- You might need 3 Batters on Beta (the pet, not the game, heh)
If Beta kills Squirky before it can use its 3rd Stampede, that's going to leave 300 extra damage, and you might even need 4 Batters.
2 -- For strat stability, I would skip a second Batter on Alpha altogether, and just Batter > Explode. With the changes, the chances your DMD will have enough health to safely use two Batters is slim.
Tagging this as good-to-go for Shadowlands. (edited)

That said, I did experience a strategy failure when Bomber hit Squirky with a crit, so it's not crit proof.
Here's a script:
ability(Bubble:934) [round=2]
ability(Stampede:163) [!enemy.aura(Shattered Defenses:542).exists & round>2]
ability(Explode:282) [self.hp<1061 & enemy.round>1 & enemy(#3).active]
ability(Supercharge:208) [enemy(#3).active]
ability(#1)
