It fails because the Sunflower is swapped stunned and swapped out before it can do solar beam.

The first time the Sunflower comes in, yes, it gets swapped out. Then it gets swapped back in, and the interrupt should have at least 2 rounds on CD, meaning you'll Sunlight > Solar Beam

and as dragons already mentioned; if you actually do follow the instructions instead of spamming the script button you should know the abilities your pet has selected making this discussion pointless (editiert)

"Turn 2+3: ability" is usually written for things that the player can't control, such as Flock.

Repeating ability use is often "Turn 5+: ability until dead" or "Turn 2: abillity Turn 3: ability" as separate lines.

It's about consistency with technical writing skills and being as clear as possible with what actions, denoted as turns on separate lines, the player takes.

i disagree. i'm confident that "usually" turns are displayed pretty much the same way there are here.
and considering that the most viewed/clicked strategies in the newest sections are made by people mostly using this writing style it would be consistent to stick to it

For those who do not have the pets mentioned - I used the following pets

I used Broot, Blossoming Ancient, and Singing Sunflower

1: Cast Sunlight
2: Cast Photosynthesis
3. Swap to next pet
4. Repeat

This will be a long fight - but no RNG!

Brought Logic to 153 hp and the Script got stuck on looping Photosynthesis for 3 turns. Went manual from that point forward which worked First Try.

For your comment to be useful, you have to say IN WHAT WAY it didn't work. What exact pets and breeds were you using? Were you following the instructions, or a script? Where did your experience deviate from the expected result? Did something die early? Not die when it shoud have? Like that. Then other people can look at it and figure whether the error was yours, or in the strat ... and if it was in the strat, what can be done to fix it.

Also see the addon Pet Battle Log Keeper, that would allow you to reference exactly what happened, if you Save Battle after finishing it.

Also, why did you get "a few" wins? Surely, you needed only one win

I found that Happiness worked well in the first slot, with corrupted touch, corrupted ground, and dark rebirth (after losing with the original team}. Blossoming ancient seemed to do well in the second slot of this second-string team, but my backup rabbit, however, failed miserably. It might be worth testing, when I have more time. (editiert)

This works (with the sunflower and rabbit), but you need to leave enough HP on Logic after it resurrects for Singing Sunflower to be able to hit it with both Sunlight and Solar Beam. I killed it with just Sunlight my first attempt and it threw the whole strategy off.

I really don't think there is any reliable way past this one without Ravenous Prideling's combination of Elemental, Disruption and Life Exchange. I was left without my Prideling on the PTR (don't ask!), and tried all sorts of weird ideas, but only succeeded once with a Ruby Droplet and some RNG. (editiert)

You don't need the prideling to beat it, but without it the fight is such a huge RNG fest that you can't create a somewhat reliable strat without dispersion. I like that there finally is a reason to use this pet, but I think there shouldn't be a necessity to use it.... It's just that terrible rng (editiert)

Yes, that's my point. And reliability is a requirement when doing a scenario where you can't heal. It's a fairly standard dev move to require you to use a particular mechanic, as they do regularly with the Boss buff to force us to use a Bleed and Stampede approach. Requiring an approach is one thing; requiring a specific pet for reliability is maybe a step too far.

Unless, of course, we've all missed something ...
