Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

Since there are better leveling options for this fight now, the level pet slot has been removed and replaced with an Arcane Storm and swap pet. Also updated one of the Mini Mindslayers to a Wyrmling.

High XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!

I don't use any of these strategies for I always use a level pet for she give a lot of EXP. There is at least 3 teams where I can add a lvl 1+ pet to her battles for each of her teams. This is why there needs to be more separate strategies for each of her teams. Not just one spot for her with a few strategies .

Saintgabrial wrote on 2016-11-09 14:27:09

VS - Runts, Sprouts and Prince Charming
2-pet strategy with any level 1 pet OR 600-HP leveling pet

1. XP pet (600+ HP if Sprouts has Fist of the Forest or lvl 1 if Sprouts has Blinding Poison)
2. Pandaren Water Spirit 1-2-1 (Water Jet, Whirlpool, Dive)
3. Iron Starlette 1-2-1 (Wind-Up, Toxic Smoke, Supercharge) (P/P or PS is the best breeds for this fight)

SPROUTS: Start with leveling pet.
Turn 1: Pass.
Turn 2: Swap to Pandaren Water Spirit.
Turn 3: Whirlpool.
Turn 4-5: Dive.
Turn 6: Water Jet - Sprouts dies.
PRINCE CHARMING comes in.
Turn 7: Whirlpool.
Turn 8: Water Jet.
Turn 9: Water Jet until PWS dies.
Bring in Iron Starlette to finish off Prince.
Turn 10: Wind-Up.
Turn 11: Wind-Up. Prince should die here. (You can use Supercharge if u need to do more damage then Wind-Up).
RUNTS comes in.
Turn 12: Wind-Up.
Turn 13: Toxic Smoke.
Turn 14: Wind-Up Runts should be dead.

Against Moon, Carl and Mouthy

YOUR TEAM
1. Leveling Pet (Any level 1+ pet)
2. Moth with speed > 251 and these attacks: Alpha Strike, Cocoon Strike, Moth Dust
3. Darkmoon Zoppelin > Flyby, Explode and Decoy

BATTLE

vs. Moon
Start with Moth
Alpha Strike
Cocoon Strike
Moth Dust, Moon should die (if not another Alpha Strike will do)
vs. Mouthy
Alpha Strike
Alpha Strike
Alpha Strike Mouthy is dead (Unless Mouthy has Shell Armor then you'll need 2 more Alpha Strikes)
vs. Carl
Cocoon Strike
Moth Dust (Your moth may die here)
Now you do not want to kill mouthy just yet, but you do want your moth to die around this point.
Pass or if mouthy has more than 900 HP Alpha Strike once and your moth should die.
Bring in Darkmoon Zeppelin
You want Mouthy to have less than 618 HP
So use flyby until Mouthy is under 618 HP
Then use Explode
Your leveling pet gets all the EXP for being the only survivor.

Saintgabrial wrote on 2016-11-13 14:22:46

Against Enbi'see, Mal and Bones

YOUR TEAM
1. Leveling Pet (Any level 1+ pet)
2. Chrominius: Arcane Explosion, Ancient Blessing and Surge of Power
3. Emerald Proto-Whelp > Emerald Bite, Emerald Presence and Emerald Dream

BATTLE

vs. Enbi'see, Mal and Bones
Start with Leveling Pet
Pass

Swap to Chrominius
Ancient Blessing
Arcane Explosion
Arcane Explosion
Arcane Explosion
REPEAT TILL THE WHOLE FIGHT IS DONE

If Chrominius dies finish fight with Emerald Proto-Whelp
One to 3 Emerald Bites should be all you'd need.

Your leveling pet gets all the EXP for being the only survivor.

Hey Saintgabrial! As mentioned below, thank you very much for adding these strategies! I will add them once I have the chance to properly revisit this fight :-)

Zaymaa wrote on 2016-11-14 11:35:42

Saintgabriel...thanks much. The PWS strat is the best yet. Almost able to solo with it. Thanks for putting this all in.

Saintgabrial wrote on 2016-11-16 15:09:26

Against Spores, Dusty and Salad

YOUR TEAM
1. Nexus Whelpling (1,2,2)
2. Leveling Pet (Level 1+)
3. Pandaren Water Spirit (1,2,2) (if you don't have one then a water strider works as well (1,2,2)

BATTLE
Turn 1: Arcane Storm.
Turn 2: Mana Surge.
Turn 3: Mana Surge continues (Spores dies).
Dusty comes in.
Turn 4: Mana Surge continues.
Turn 5: Arcane Storm.
Here it depends on luck. Your whelpling may have killed Dusty or Dusty is still alive and you'll need to Tail Sweep once to kill Dusty or Dusty may kill your Welp. (If my Whelp dies I just start over).
Salad comes in.
Bring in your Leveling Pet. (optional)
Swap to Pandaren Water Spirit.
Turn 1: Geyser.
Turn 2: Whirlpool.
Turn 3+: Water Jet until Salad is dead.

Adding some now :-)

Saintgabrial wrote on 2016-11-09 13:52:03

Still waiting for all the alternatives. You know the ones with level pets lower than 10+. Ones with different pets for those that don't have these pets or have 2 of them. Each of her teams needs a couple alternatives. Not this one works for all thing.

With Howlbomb it was possible to have a "cookie cutter" strategy here that worked no matter what pets Erris / Kura had active. Since howlbomb is gone, I have not properly revisited this fight. I see you are posting different strategies and I will add these once I have the chance. Thank you very much for taking the effort!

GnuclearGnome wrote on 2016-10-11 23:47:45

I have two teams for Erris/Kura battles. One the Rats and one for all the rest.

First the one for most of the fights:

- Nether Faerie Dragon with 2-2-1 - I use an H/P breed.
- Anubisath Idol with 1-1-2
- Rapana Whelk with 2-2-1 - Breed is H/B but that's just what I had at the time, I've gotten other snails since and some may work better.

NFD uses Moonfire, then repeated Arcane Blasts, I generally save the Life Exchange for the first round that the third enemy comes in and only reuse Moonfire if I need to reapply Moonlight (or to finish off an enemy as I really like the graphic). When Anubisath comes in, Rupture on cooldown, Sandstorm on cooldown, fill with Crush. If the snail is needed, use Dive on cooldown, Shell Shield on cooldown, and fill with Absorb. I never had much trouble winning with these three. The NFD almost always solos the Flying team. The only team these guys have serious issues with is the Rats, so for them I use:

- Stunted Yeti with 1-1-1
- Kun-Lai Runt with 1-1-1 - P/B breed
- Kun-Lai Runt with 1-1-1 - P/P breed

Basically spam Rampage on cooldown. While it's cooling down, try to hit them with Mangle, then Thrash. I used the P/B Runt first as it has a bit more health (1465 to the P/P's 1400) and don't usually even need to use the third pet.

Partizan wrote on 2016-08-03 00:37:19

Confused - are we saying that the above strategy works for *all* of the Kura battles?

Aranesh

wrote on 2016-08-20 02:52:48

Yes, however if the pets you battle on a specific day are flying pets, like Enbi'see, Mal and Bones, this strategy is not the best to use. It can work though nevertheless.

Partizan wrote on 2016-08-02 23:20:47

Aranesh

wrote on 2016-08-02 23:27:57

Yes, it does. Unless you have the Critter fight active and are very unlucky.
Since howlbomb is gone this is my only strategy left, and I'll have to look into finding some others at some point :-)

Partizan wrote on 2016-08-04 22:08:00

Just tried this tonight... LOL, couldn't believe it, worked like a champ!

Aranesh

wrote on 2016-08-02 06:32:30

There was just one here that made use of the Howl Bomb strategy. Since patch 7.0.3 it doesn't work anymore, so I had to remove it :/
