1. Expanding on ziboo's comment, the Moth dust can do 496 without critting, so minimum level pet level will vary greatly by species.
2. The breed on the Nether Faerie Dragon might matter. I had frequent unlucky failures with P/P, often not having enough health for Needleback's Grasp, so I would die before I could do anything. With H/P I managed to get by, but maybe it was just bad luck and then good luck.

Heartbroken into Tantrum, Zap till die. Switch carry1 in/out and your Sentinel should be facing off a 441 health Lightstalker, perhaps higher health if Sleep. Soulrush regardless, Ethreal the Headbutt, Peck to win.
Heartbroken into Tantrum works on Hyena in Jade Forest as well. Good for those flyver/aquatic/beast lineup, always kills first pet and brings next two low for cleanup.
