I was able to take a level 1 battle pet to level 6 (45% into level 6) with the Safari Hat (only)
Tried with a second battle pet, with hat and both treats, raised its level to 7 (1610xp). This might be a viable option during the Pet Battle bonus weeks for power-leveling pets. Will investigate the xp gain, during the next PBBW. edit - script added. Thank you DragonAfterDark |

#2 having high power, ensures 5 rounds; #3 pet will likely not be needed. |

I wanted to provide a strategy that used only Khaz Algar wild pets, so it should be pretty accessible even for new battlers!

Best to use the "script" since the enemy’s attack can vary for each fight.

~70% winrate:
The ennemy pet has 50% chance to succeed his spell 1. The fight is lost if he succeeds the two uses of this spell. So you have 75% chance to not be in this case. This ennemy pet has also ~5% chance to succeed to hit two times all of his other spell and get crits with it, and in this case, 1 success for his 1st spell may be enough to kill you. Note that your volcan has 25% chance to stun, but it does not interfer at all in the result of the fight. |

First, just a correction.
Blistering cold has a 2 round cooldown, so the Turns are not really accurate under strategy. It should be Blistering Cold followed by 2 rounds of Chop. Repeat.
Bonestorm! does such a small amoung of damage (sorry didn't write it down; like 50 points more than Chop?) that it does not seem worth it to lose that much health for one small attack. His RNG makes him miss so often I think it is better to conserve health with the hope of inflicting additional Blistering colds. My Bonestorm had 15 health for 3 rounds before an attack finally landed to kill him. But that allowed him to add one more Blistering Cold.
Also, when I died the first time and knew Blistering Cold was on its 2 round cool down, with only the one round left, I'd rather use the higher damage move with the high chance of missing. It's my last move anyway. Freaked me out when it actually landed.
I did not use a small level pet. Doesn't one training stone add 2000 XP? I use fights like this when I have a pet partially into a level, particularly level 24. I hate wasting a stone on a pet that needs less than that 2000 XP to level up. I am certainly glad I did, He killed my Ikky and gained some health. Gratefully, it was nothing my level 24 Beetle couldn't handle and won the fight for the XP.
Especially when the fight is for battle stones, I'd just as soon get done and move on the the next World Quest.

Turn 1 - Chop
Turn 2 - Blistering Cold
Turn 3 - switch to Ikky
Turn 4 - Black Claw
Turn 5 - Flock, and you're now done
