Note: You have selected a substitute pet.
The strategy might fail if you use it with this pet instead of the one the strategy creator intended.

The substitute finder looks for these criteria in relation to the original pet:
  • Same family
  • Has the required skills
  • Has the required stats (if specified)
  • Ignores specific breed requirements for the main pet, as breeds can be very different for substitutes

I'd like to start off by saying that the suggested strategy using Puddle Terror is by far the safest strategy out there, i was able to solo it with just Sunlight/Nature's Ward, killing off the back line entirely during the first encounter.
And considering that the pet is very cheap on AH, there's hardly any excuse not to use that strategy.

But for this one, i was basically messing around to bring back a little bit of a challenge, while also playing it safe.
This strategy is not THE strategy by any means, it's just a variation of the known working tropes.

High XP
At least one of the pets for this strategy require the use of a specific breed.
RNG
Not every strategy can be bullet proof. This is one of them. You might have to restart it, since there are some random elements that increase the risk of your pets failing. Don't blame them, please!
This strategy is using pets obtainable from the Wow Trading Card Game (TCG) or the auction house for potentially high sums of gold.
This strategy is using pets obtainable only from the WoW In-Game Shop for Battle.net Balance or real money.
You can use this strategy to carry a low level pet to give it experience.
Some instructions are more difficult to follow than others. That's exactly what you might find in this strategy!
The strategy offers a Script that can be used with the Pet Battle Script addon. You can copy the script by clicking on the button to the left of the pets.
At least one pet in the strategy cannot be obtained anymore. If you have it, congrats!
A Strategy Curator found this strategy to be especially helpful and higlighted it with this tag to give it more exposure.

Turn 3+
Time Bomb Make sure it goes off in a turn where Sandstorm is no longer active, and preferably finishing Wishbright Lantern off before he can cast (another) Wish. Ideally you'll stun it when it has a little bit of HP left, so Cymre will waste a turn switching in Gyrexle, while Wishbright slowly burns to death in the back line.

Cast Decoy and switch switch to Fel Flame then cast Conflagrate and keep firing at him while he's trying to Repair. Should be an easy win, nobody dies, but at least it felt like you had to do a little bit for it, haha.

One of the hardest fights in Draenor. It is not suitable to use for leveling a pet as it takes way too long and is unreliable.
