Sophic Amalgamation is an alternative #1 pet. It's slightly better due to dying early in the event it's swapped back into AND you've been given/gotten a crit (Rare but possible).
Baa'l/Baa'lial are an alternative (Select Darkflame/Trample - Script will work) but can only survive a single Thundertounge crit (Due to this, script will always use alternative steps unless you use original 7 round version in the comments). Death Seeker is BIS as the extra health/alt steps ensures double pump crit safety |

Singing Sunflower can only survive 1 crit.
MOD: Have modified the script to account for losing Sunflower early. It will potentially save a normal run but you will need to the select the following abilities if you want it to work: * On Baa'l; select Darkflame, Scorched Earth * On Baa'lial; select Trample * On Death Seeker; select Eyeblast, Eye Beam Alternative pets #1 pets: * Golden Chirper S/S - This is a few seconds slower due to animations. * Soul of the Aspects (untested) - This is a the best (theoretical) for this strat BUT is a shop pet. |

This is based off of Smithbob's strat and is modified to include two leveling pets.
First time writing a strat and script. Feedback is appreciated (particularly on the script). *After running this strat whenever the quest is up for several weeks with no problems, I encountered a hitch today. One of my leveling pets (Pulsating Maggot) had the 'drain blood' ability and used it when it was swapped in. It wasn't a huge deal, but I have no idea how to fix the script to solve that problem. Would love some suggestions. **Credit for the new script goes to DragonsAfterDark. |

Works well as long as Swog doesn't Crit on Pump. Also a little bit RNG if Slicing Wind keeps single hitting. If you don't like the RNG, swap the leveling pet for a 3rd like Ikky. Battle giving ~1k XP for me.

i have tested this strat 4 times, and even with bad RNG (and some user error...) it has worked every time, i do not yet know if breed matters (but it might, my nexus whelpling is PP and sometimes only barely kills swog) so please let me know if this worked for you or not.

I am sorry if this is not the correct place to ask but I am trying to learn script to help contribute to the community. I have a strategy I am testing for this battle. Involved Darkmoon Zepp, any level leveling pet and Bloodboil. I wrote the script and it works till I swap in level pet and then swaps to Bloodboil. Can someone by chance suggest how I can make this work?
Example:
use Decoy
use Explode
swap(next) "lvling pet"
use(#1) "i want him to use any ability"
swap(bloodboil)
use Bloodrain
use Expunge
use ooze touch
use ooze touch again
rinse and repeat till hes dead.
Any suggestions why it stops when bring level pet in? instead of use(#1) it skips and changes to bloodboil and only uses ability 1 and nothing else.
Any suggestions?

Similarly, the only reason the change functions at the bottom of scripts is because no abilities can used when a pet is dead.
Here is where you start:
ability(Decoy:334)
ability(Explode:282)
change(next)
Note: Make sure you get the code # in with the ability, that way it can be used in any language.
At this point in the script, you've used Decoy, Explode, and your Level pet is in. The level pet being brought after a death in counts for it coming into the battle, HOWEVER, keep in mind you cannot begin the fight with a level pet and immediately swap it out, or it won't count.
Coming in after a death means the level pet doesn't have to use any abilities, so it can be scripted like this:
change (#3) [self(#2).active]
ability(Decoy:334)
ability(Explode:282)
change(next)
You want it at the top of the script so it will be the first active line that is being 'read' by the addon.
Then you can add all the stuff for Blood Boil:
change (#3) [self(#2).active]
ability(Decoy:334)
ability(Explode:282)
ability(Drain Blood:1043)
ability(Expunge:450)
ability(Ooze Touch:445)
change(next)
I also have a video on YouTube here where I go over how to create scripts ^^

Best wishes moving forward, and if you join the Xu-Fu's and/or WarcraftPets Discords, there are usually always people around to help with any questions you might have.

Murder the Innocent: Death Seeker or Baa'l
Illuminate: Enchanted Torch or Enchanted Lantern, Festival Lantern, Flawless Amethyst Baubleworm, Sophic Amalgamation
Thanks to OP for the strat, worked great for me.
