You cannot specify 'Any Dragon' for the third slot because you have to use it in case Emmigosa dies, which is nearly 100% of the time and in some instances leaves less than 200 HP on the boss which your last dragon pet HAS to pick up or it will die as well...

That being the case, Red Dragonhawk Hatchling (1,1,1) works miracles.

This strat works every time no fail. Used Emerald Proto Whelp in the 3rd slot for safety. However, I have never needed.

Emmigosa is earned by completing the quest chains in Azsuna. This is an easy to come by pet. That said, she's not the most powerful dragon with this ability.

This strat did not work for me. Emmigosa just died well short of taking down Retch everytime I tried it.. Untamed hatchling worked for me. Used Roar first, then claw until Retch was dead. Didn't need 3rd pet.

I used the Untamed Hatchling, but still needed 3rd pet...for that I used the Celestial Dragon, with Roar, Arcane Storm, and Moonfire...Used Roar, then Moonfire...done :) Thanks for the UH suggestion, my Emmi was getting pummeled as well...

Emmigosa died too quick. I had S/S phoenix hawk hatchling in the 3rd slot with Rake and claw, and it cleaned things up very nicely.

I tried again with my S/S Phoenix Hawk Hatchling at the front, started with claw, lift off, rake, and clawed until it died, Chrominius swapped in, used bite, howl, and finished off gnasher with surge of power.

Strat (Alternative 1) did not work for me, because EMMIGOSA went down so fast.
I have 3 CHROMINIUS. I filled my team with them and used Howl & Surge of Power with each.

I had a horrible time with poor Emmigosa not going down after one swat. My random 3rd dragon was a Spawn of Onyxia with 1/1/1 (not that there was time to heal) and ended up being lucky, but that was after multiple tries.

Didn't have Emmigosa at max, so I used Chrominius (same as above strat), Sprite Darter (Moonfire, then Arcane Blast x2), and Nexus Whelpling (Mana Surge finished it off). It was a bit sloppy, but it worked.
